113,394. Clay, A. C., and Weston, A. B. June 26, 1917. Locking nuts.-In a lock-nut A in which a setscrew B is provided with a gripping block C whose gripping face is threaded to correspond with the threads of the nut, the block' C is provided with two sets of gripping threads arranged at rightangles. The curvature of the face of the block may be convex, flat, or concave. The block C may be rotatably carried on the set-screw, Fig. 1, or independent thereof, Fig. 4.
