Abstract

[Also in Division E1] Above the goaf side of a face conveyer of a mining installation is so secured as to allow of vertical adjustment with respect to said side, a guide track for a mining machine movable along the face side of the conveyer, the track being formed of a number of rigid members articulated together at the ends and individually supported from the goaf side by rams or manually adjustable, lockable telescopic struts.
