Abstract

1,093,171. Ammunition; weapons. DYNAMIT NOBEL A.G. Oct. 2, 1964 [Oct. 2, 1963], No. 40350/64. Headings F3A and F3C. Ammunition for a recoil-less weapon consists of a projectile 26, a propellant charge 27 and a tamping member 17, the latter having axial bores 18 through which a quantity of propellant gas is discharged. A rotatable disc 21 coacts with the bores to regulate the gas flow therefrom; the disc 21 is controlled by a manually operable knob 23 which may be adjusted on a temperature scale on the tamping member 17.
