Abstract
1,032,519. Switch contacts. SIEMENS SCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. March 15, 1963 [March 15, 1962], No. 10460/63. Heading H2B. A two-layer sintered contact body, having a high resistance to welding, has one layer (the contact layer) of Ag-Pb and the other layer (the soldering layer) of pure silver, copper or a silver alloy with a preponderant proportion of silver. The soldering layer is luted on the soldering side. The porosity of the contact layer is between 5% and 20% by volume, and preferably the lead content of the contact layer is from 2% to 20% by weight. Preferably also the thickness of the contact layer is at least half the thickness of the body.
