Abstract
1,029,285. Electromagnetic relays. BUDAVOX BUDAPESTI HIRADASTECHNIKAI VALLALAT. Nov. 9, 1962 [Nov. 10, 1961], No. 42467/62. Heading H2B. A contact spring arrangement comprises two rows of contact springs 2 held against opposite sides of an insulating plate 1 by insulating blocks 20 in which the moving contact springs 4 are embedded. The contact springs are prevented from lateral displacement by pins 5 of the plate. The insulating blocks 20 and plate 1 are clamped together by a plate spring 6 which also secures the assembled contact arrangement to extensions 10 of the magnetic core 17. The contact arrangement shown comprises normally open, and normally closed contact sets, but change-over contact sets may be provided by electrically connecting adjacent fixed springs on opposite sides of the plate 1. The moving contacts 4 are in the form of wires and are actuated by a card 13 which is mounted on two adjustable tongues 14, 15 of armature 16. A replaceable non-magnetic split washer 18 carried by a stud secured to the core 17 prevents the armature sticking. A nut carried by the stud engages the bottom of the armature to set the air gap.
