Abstract
Mobile roof device, especially for light housing. The invention relates to an insulated rigid roof (1) which translates in the transverse direction of a fixed light dwelling or on a trailer chassis (4). The translation follows the slope of the roof and is actuated by a system of cables (10a, 10b, 11) connected on either side of the roof. The cables are operated manually by a winch (13) or using an electric motor. The lighting, fixed to the roof, will allow a lit terrace to appear. The innovation is therefore aesthetic with this lit terrace and this accommodation completely devoid of the roof, but will also improve the thermal performance of the house, which will be more comfortable on sunny days thanks to ventilation provided by the roof opening, in particular on the mezzanine and high rooms close to the ceiling. The innovation in no way alters the insulation of these homes, which aim to remain very economical and very energy efficient. The roof is sealed by pinching seals (19) along the length and by lip seals (16) across the width where the translation takes place. The gutter is in two parts and therefore makes it possible to recover rainwater with the closed roof and to be able to open the roof quickly without disconnecting the evacuation system. The roof can be screwed (20) to the structure of the house during wintering or during transport of the house if it is mobile.
Description
The present invention presents a mobile roof device, in particular for lightweight dwellings.
The light and unusual habitat is very buoyant and it is now common to encounter in France and abroad this alternative housing that consumes very little energy and is easily implanted on building land and some not building land. The goal is to have a house of less than 20 m2 that can be easily installed or moved with the same performance in terms of thermal and sound insulation as a BBC house. Mainly in wood frame, the problems of energy consumption require the use of the same materials and techniques (according to the DTU) as for a new BBC house.
However, for these light habitats, there are important issues that require additional consideration: thermal phase shift and inertia. Thanks to high-performance insulation with a good thermal phase shift, it is very easy to heat this volume in winter with very little energy. Despite a sufficient thickness of insulation with a good phase shift, it is nevertheless complicated to keep the coolness of the night during a summer day. There is not the same inertia in this type of housing as in a traditional house. In addition, the sleeping area is often on the mezzanine, close to the ceiling in the warmest place. The large glazed surfaces encountered in these accommodations necessary to avoid feeling cramped do not help this phenomenon of heat on a summer day.
The innovation that will be described will significantly improve this constraint related to small light housing and will also offer a real aesthetic and unusual innovation to this habitat.

The innovation consists in making the roof (1) of the house completely mobile. The Roof is an insulated sandwich panel which is guided by guides(2) with partial or total extension over the entire width of the building. It is recommended to put at least 4 slides distributed over the width to avoid the buttressing of the roof. There is for each slide system:
A fixed beam (3) to the frame (4) of the house fixed in the walls at both ends of the beam.
- Une poutre mobile (5) fixée en dessous du panneau sandwich (6) solidaire au toit rigide de même longueur que la poutre fixe (3)A movable beam (5) fixed below the sandwich panel (6) integral with the rigid roof of the same length as the fixed beam (3)
The fixed part of the slide will be bolted (8) to the fixed beam (3) and the mobile part of the slide bolted to the mobile beam (5).
The slides follow the slope of the mono-pitched roof by approximately 5 degrees. The roof which is connected by the slides will therefore open by gravity. A system of cables (9) on either side of the roof allows the load to be retained and the roof to be lowered gradually. It is necessary to tighten the cables to raise the roof and close it to its initial position. The right (10a) and left (10b) side cables meet in the center of the house to become one (11) using a cable clamp assembly (12). The main cable (11) can be operated by guaranteeing the mechanical synchronism of the two right (10a) and left (10b) cables (because the connection between the main cable (11) and right (10a) and left (10b) and perfectly rigid and adjustable) The main cable (11) can be operated manually by a self-braking hand winch (13). The winch brake is necessary to be able to open the roof more or less and to release the winch safely without the roof moving further. The system can easily be motorized by putting the appropriate anti-crushing safety devices. The maneuvering and cable system is embedded in the framework (14) of the house. It is necessary to sheath all the cables and to encase all the cable bevel gears (15) to be able to insulate around the system.
On the sides of the house, at the location of the translation, sealing is achieved using a lip seal (16) accompanied by a brush seal (17). The sealing of the front and rear of the roof is achieved by abutment (18); the roof closes by compressing the seal (19) front and rear against the house which guarantees water and air tightness.
To release the tension in the cables, during wintering, transport, etc., nuts (20) embedded in the roof will make it possible to screw the roof (20a) to the rest of the building and thus to freeze the roof in the closed position. The roof has front and rear boxes (21) where the light spots are located. The electricity follows the roof in its mobility thanks to a cable carrying chain. The evacuation of rainwater is sectioned to allow the translation of the roof. In the closed position, there is a perfect alignment between the two pieces of evacuation pipes (22).
Voici les avantages de cette innovation :Here are the advantages of this innovation:
Ceci permet de limiter sur chaleur au niveau des mezzanines par ventilation.– Improved summer comfort where it is possible to create an airflow from the bottom of the house (windows, vents) to the open roof. The opening is controllable and it is useful to open the roof only partially to allow airflow and to prevent the sun's radiation entering the house. This makes it possible to limit on heat at the level of the mezzanines by ventilation.
- – La ventilation et la gestion de l’humidité est améliorée avec l’ouverture du toit qui va permettre les évacuations des odeurs de l’humidité générées par la cuisson d’aliments par exemple.– Ventilation and humidity management is improved with the opening of the roof which will allow the evacuation of odors from the humidity generated by the cooking of food for example.
La mezzanine étant complétement découverte, cela permet de dormir «à la belle étoile» les nuits d’été.– A feeling of enlargement of the house with the roof completely uncovered and which gives an unusual character to the accommodation. The mezzanine being completely uncovered, this allows you to sleep "under the stars" on summer nights.
The spotlights are linked to the roof and allow the terrace to be lit to be able to eat in the evening, for example. By taking advantage of the lit covered terrace and the completely uncovered habitat, the latter will cool down and will allow better summer comfort by accelerating the cooling of the walls and roof.
More specifically, the invention relates to a device for a mobile roof, in particular for light housing, comprising:
