Abstract

Un dispositif d'épuration de gaz d'échappement estime une quantité de dépôt de matières particulaires d'échappement dans un collecteur (4) d'après des caractéristiques de dépôt corrélant la quantité de dépôt avec une perte de charge dans le collecteur. Les caractéristiques de dépôt définissent une première plage à partir d'un point initial, auquel la quantité de dépôt est nulle, jusqu'à un point de transition, et une seconde plage au-delà. La perte de charge augmente plus progressivement dans la seconde plage que dans la première lorsque la quantité de dépôt augmente. Le dispositif corrige les caractéristiques de dépôt de façon que le point de transition s'approche du point initial, la perte de charge au point initial augmente et un rapport d'augmentation de la perte de charge vis-à-vis de l'augmentation de la quantité de dépôt dans la seconde plage augmente, lorsqu'une quantité de dépôt de cendres augmente.
