Abstract

The barrier, made from sections with vertical (B1, B2, B4) and horizontal (B5, B6) rails and feet (B3), has couplings for joining barrier sections together end to end. Each coupling consists of male (A) and female (C) components, the male component having a handle (A2) and loops (A3) which fasten it to a vertical end rail (B1) on its barrier section. The loops allow the male component to slide up or down the rail to disengage or engage it, and also allow one barrier section to be turned relative to the adjoining one.
