Abstract

The box has a polygon shaped base (1) with flaps (2,3,4,5) attached to the base by fold lines that form the sides of the box. Gussets (6,7,8,9) are provided and these connect adjacent edges with the cutlines and fold lines being formed in the material blank. Two of the flaps (4,5) have tabs (10,11) connected to them by fold lines (10P,11P). The tabs are of the same height (H) as the flaps. The tabs are arranged to be folded on top of the gussets and against the internal surface of the flap. The tabs have a tongue piece (12,13) attached to them by a fold line (12P,13P). These are arranged to fold flat against the base, between the fold line of the flap (4P,5P) and a fastening cut out (18,19) formed in the base to retain the tongue pieces and its associated flap.
