Abstract
Description
such as a tennis court and sports field
obtained by the implementation of the process ".
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a sports field such as a tennis court, according to which a superposition of separate layers of different materials is carried out, as well as the sports field obtained by implementing the method.
Processes are already known for manufacturing sports fields such as tennis courts, the upper covering of which constitutes the playing surface consists of paving. This paving, in a usual way, is not porous and does not let batten pass. There is therefore a problem because for the practice of this sport and for the good maintenance of the ground, it is necessary that the latter must be able to absorb the water, this in order to prevent a film of water from forming on the playing surface. In addition, it is necessary that the layer which supports the paving and which is constituted by sand must not pass into the lower layers forming the foundation of the tennis court, this passage of sand being caused by water infiltration.
The present invention therefore aims to remedy these drawbacks and proposes to create a method of manufacturing a sports field such as a tennis court and the sports field obtained by the implementation of the method, d '' a simple and fast implementation, while providing the land with correct water absorption properties without damaging the different layers forming the land.
To this end, the invention relates to a method of manufacturing a sports field such as a tennis court, according to leauel there is a superposition of separate layers of different materials, method characterized in that
- that we prepare the surface of the ground by removing the topsoil and we level this surface,
- a layer of crushed aggregates such as limestone is put in place, with a particle size of 15/40 and a thickness of between 15 and 20 cm depending on the bearing capacity of the ground, and this layer is vibrated with using a vibrating cylinder,
- a layer of rolled gravel with a grain size of 5/15 and a thickness of approximately 8 cm is placed above this layer of aggregates using a ruler without vibrations,
- the layer of rolled gravel is covered with a layer of crushed hard aggregates, such as porphyry or silica, with a particle size of 3/6 and a thickness of approximately 4 cm,
- there is, by means of a rule, above the layer of hard crushed aggregates, a washed sand of silica or silico-limestone with a particle size 0.4 or 0.5 according to a thickness of 4 cm,
- pavers are laid and, in particular, pavers designated by the marked "AGRESPORT" along offset lines, the longitudinal axis of the paver being parallel to the width of the sports field, the gap between the joints between pavers n ' not exceeding 3 mm,
- then a first sandblasting, sweeping and tamping is carried out in a first direction of circulation using a vibrating scraper and interposing a polyurethane sheet between the scraper and the pavers, a second sanding and, after sweeping, a second tamping with the vibrating lady in a direction of circulation perpendicular to the first, finally a third sandblasting and sweeping for the definitive filling of the joints and to proceed to the drawing of the lines.
According to another characteristic of the invention, an additional layer of material is placed under the base layer of crushed limestone aggregates of 15/40 particle size when the bearing capacity of the ground is too low.
The present invention also relates to a sports field such as a tennis court, obtained by the implementation of the manufacturing process.
The present invention will be better understood with the aid of an embodiment of a tennis court according to the invention, shown diagrammatically in the single attached figure which is a perspective diagram of a portion of the tennis court .
According to the single figure, the sports field 1 such as a tennis court, is formed of several superimposed layers, each layer being formed of a separate material and placed in a specific manner. These layers consist of an additional base layer 2, which is put in place when the bearing capacity of the ground is too low. Layer 3 is a layer of crushed aggregates of large sizes.
This layer 3 is surmounted by a layer 4 of rolled gravel, itself surmounted by a layer 5 of hard crushed aggregates such as porphyry or silica.
Above layer 5, there is a layer 6 made up of washed sand. The layer 7 forming the upper layer at the same time as the coating of the tennis court, is produced by the installation of pavers designated by the mark "AGRESPORT".
According to this figure, for the realization of the ground, we proceed as follows.
The surface of the ground forming the tennis court is prepared by removing the topsoil and leveling the cleared surface. A layer of crushed aggregates such as limestone or the like is then placed.
These crushed aggregates have a particle size of 15/40, the layer having a thickness of between 15 and 20 cm depending on the bearing capacity of the ground. When the bearing capacity of the ground is too weak, it is necessary to put in place a layer 2 intended to stabilize the ground.
The layer 3 put in place is vibrated with a vibrating cylinder.
Layer 4 superimposed on layer 3 consists of rolled gravel with a particle size between 5/15 and 5/25 and has a thickness of approximately 8 cm, the rolled gravel forming layer 4 is put in place by rule without vibrations. This layer makes it possible to avoid sagging of the surface thereafter. Layer 4 will have an accuracy of between + 5 mm to obtain perfect flatness of the tennis court. Layer 4 is decisive for the proper production of the upper covering forming layer 7.
We cover layer 4 of rolled gravel with a layer of crushed hard aggregates such as porphyry or silica or other similar materials.
This layer has a particle size of 3/6 and a thickness of 4 cm. This particular particle size of the layer 5 avoids the passage or penetration of the sand forming the layer 6. This layer 6 consists of a sandy layer disposed above the layer of crushed hard aggregates. Layer 6 is put in place using a ruler. It consists of a washed silica or sand-lime sand with a particle size of 0.4 or 0.5 according to a thickness of 4 cm. This layer is not groomed and is not watered during the construction of the tennis court.
Layer 6 serves as a support for the upper covering constituted by layer 7. This upper covering consists of pavers designated by the mark "AGRESPORT". The pavers are set up along offset lines. The longitudinal axis of each block 8 is parallel to the width 1 of the sports field. The blocks 8 are placed with a cord every three meters.
The gap between the joints between the various neighboring pavers 8 must not exceed 3 mm. The most important point for the realization of the layer 7 is the start of the installation because it is necessary to respect the clearance given by the paver 8 to avoid a blockage in the installation due to an assembly that is too tight.
After the pavers 8 have been completely laid forming the upper layer 7, a first sandblasting is carried out using a sand of 0.5 grain size washed. This sand is used to fill the joints and to block the pavers 8. After the first sanding operation, a sweeping operation is carried out. The purpose of this sweeping is to prevent the large grains of sand from becoming encrusted in the blocks 8 during grooming. For grooming, a vibrating lady is used to level the blocks 8 and to avoid any offset of one block with respect to another, which could cause a false rebound during the game.
The tamping is carried out using a vibrating lady whose power must approach 0.5 kg / cm2.
A polyurethane sheet is interposed between the lady and the paving stones. The thickness of the polyurethane sheet is of the order of cm to give greater flexibility to the tamping and thus avoid damaging the surface of the pavers.
The first grooming passes are made in the L direction of the length of the sports field and respecting the grooming lines, so that the lady passes each time next to the previous passage to avoid passing twice in the same place . After this tamping operation, a second sandblasting and a second sweeping is carried out. Following these operations, a second tamping is carried out with the vibrating knife in a direction of circulation perpendicular to the first, that is to say in the direction of traffic used during the first damage. The second tamping is therefore carried out by moving along the arrows corresponding to the width 1 of the court.
A third sandblasting is then carried out to fill the joints. Finally, a final sweep of the field is carried out to trace the lines of the tennis court.
