Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to eat without a table or a fixed surface and, possibly, while remaining standing. It is composed essentially: 1. of a lightweight and rigid tray which can be held in one hand, the thumb on the top, which is designed so that it is, by itself, balanced on the carrying hand. 2. of an assembly of accessory elements which can be fitted on the tray and actuated by the thumb, permitting operation of most of those manipulations which are required when consuming the most varied foods. As they are inexpensive, the elements constituting such a device have a very wide area of application, particularly in the high-quality, fast-food trade.

En particulier un plateau de plus grande dimension peut comporter une alvéole de forme spéciale permettant, après en avoir vidé une partie dans le gobelet, de poser, semi-oeuchée une bouteille contenant le reste de la boisson ( Fig. 16 et 17 ).
