Abstract

Gonfleur comportant une section de gonflement à fonctionnement automatique fixée à un gonfleur manuel connu. La section automatique comprend un dispositif de verrouillage maintenant un plongeur actionné par un ressort de compression hélicoïdal à l'état armé, jusqu'a ce qu'il libère le plongeur qui pousse ensuite une pointe de percement contre et à travers un diaphragme d'obturation d'une capsule à gaz. Le dispositif de verrouillage comporte un élément pouvant être détruit par l'eau retenant le dispositif en position d'armement du plongeur, jusqu'à ce que ledit élément subisse l'action de l'eau dans une mesure suffisante pour l'affaiblir au point que le dispositif de verrouillage relâche le plongeur. Applications : aux articles gonflables tels que les gilets de sauvetage.
