Abstract

Cette invention concerne un séchoir économiseur pour produits granuleux. Ce séchoir comprend un étage supérieur et un étage inférieur superposés, avec une seule colonne de cases à progression par gravité. Des moyens sont prévus pour assurer dans l'étage supérieur un recyclage multiple de l'air, avec réchauffage à chaque cycle et prélèvement d'une partie de l'air recyclé. L'air prélevé, saturé d'humidité, est envoyé à un laveur pour permettre la condensation de l'humidité et une récupération de chaleur. Un séchoir de ce typé, utilisable par exemple pour le séchage du mais ou de produits analogues, permet une réduction de la dépense d'énergie thermique spécifique pour le séchage.
