Abstract
Cage de construction simple dont la surface extérieure sphérique comporte un décrochement qui permet de l'introduire facilement dans la cloche de l'articulation. L'articulation comporte, d'une part, un bout d'arbre cannelé 13 portant la cloche 1 et, d'autre part, un bout d'arbre 12 dont les cannelures pénètrent dans les cannelures internes de la noix 3. La cloche et la noix 3 comportent respectivement, dans des plans méridiens, des rainures 2, 4 dans lesquelles se meuvent des billes 5 maintenues dans les fenêtres de la cage 6. Il y a contact glissant entre la surface externe 9 de la cage 6 et la sphère interne 10 de la cloche 1, et également entre surface interne 7 de la cage 6 et la sphère extérieure 8 de la noix 3. La surface 9 possède un décrochement 15 ayant la forme d'un anneau sphérique.
