Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé d'élimination des contraintes résiduelles produites dans un tube par une opération de sertissage de ce tube dans un alésage menagé dans une plaque de forte épaisseur. Après le sertissage proprement dit, où le tube est laminé contre la paroi de l'alésage, on réalise une expansion du tube dans la zone où l'on a stoppé le sertissage, ou zone de transition, de telle sorte qu'on accroise son diamètre extérieur et son diamètre intérieur sans effectuer de laminage. On réalise cette expansion de telle sorte que le diamètre extérieur du tube reste inférieur au diamètre de l'alésage, après expansion. L'invention s'applique, en particulier, aux tubes de générateurs de vapeur de centrales nucléraires.
