Abstract

The mast (A) is formed of cylindrical sections (1) of equal diameter assembled end to end, and prevented from twisting in relation to each other. The contact end surfaces of each section are flat and slope relative to the mast's axis. The slope of the ends in relation to the transverse section of the 15 deg.-45 deg. at the top of each section is an inner, cylindrical sleeve (3). The outer end of the sleeve (3) is bevelled conically, to enable it to be slotted together with another section.
