Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the radial size of a coaxial line, by providing a choke in an orthogonal branch conductor at a branch section of a stub angle. CONSTITUTION:If a diameter of an inner conductor in a terminal 4 is far smaller than the wavelength, a TEM mode is energized to a coaxial line formed in a choke 21. When an electric length of the coaxial line formed in the choke 21 is adjusted to 180 deg. and one end of the choke 21 is shortened, another end of the choke 21 is electrically shortened. Thus, the inner conductor branch part is electrically continuous and a stub angle 20 has the similar characteristics as those of a stub angle 11. Since no choke is needed in a coaxial line 8 through the use of the stub angle 20, the thickness of the coaxial line is made thin and a rotary joint can be made small in size and linght in weight.
