Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé et un appareil pour la séparation en plusieurs parties de feuilles en verre. Entre un convoyeur d'amenée 2 et un convoyeur d'évacuation 6 sont montés plusieurs convoyeurs à bande 4 qui divergent les uns des autres de part et d'autre de deux convoyeurs centraux parallèles 10, 12. Des moyens soulèvent les extrémités amont des convoyeurs 4 le long d'une ligne incurvée transversalement au déplacement et à une rayure longitudinale 3 qui sert d'amorce de rupture. L'invention est utilisable pour la séparation en plusieurs parties de feuilles de verre sur lesquelles on a préalablement tracé une ou plusieurs rayures longitudinales de rupture.
