Abstract

Unbreakable plastic sealing stopper for bottle comprises a flat top with an outer skirt provided with inner grooves for engaging beneath the ring of the bottle. A safety band can be torn off due to incisions formed in the inner surface at the upper edge of the skirt over part of the circumference except for a flap joining the flat top tot he circular band formed by the base of the skirt ater removal of the safety band. At the end of the tearoff band is a pull tab. Pref. at least one circular stop is provided on the flat top between the outer skirt and an inner skirt. The hinge between the flat top and the circular band at the base of the outer skirt may be formed by two lugs formed by two apertures in the outer skirt.
