Abstract

The fixing block (3) consists of a body (4) sliding in a T-shaped groove (5). A clamping bit (6) provided with a tooth (8) pivots about an axis (7) at the top of the body, the bit being manipulated by a worm screw (9) which clamps the tooth into the work piece (1). The block is secured in the groove by two worm screws, one corm screw (11) clamping the body to the bottom of the groove and the other worm screw (19) operating two cramp irons (13), provided with serrated edges so that they grip the sides of the groove, which are located in a horizontal bore in the body.
