Abstract

The combination machine is used for sawing and milling wood, having a self contained circular saw head (8, 9) mounted above the work table (1) and a milling cutter (2) projecting through the same table. This cutter is fitted to a spindle which can be completely retracted below the table. The saw head fits on a carriage (7) and can be pivoted vertically (71). This carriage can slide (6) along an overhead horizontal arm (4) for positioning, the arm swinging about a vertically adjustable column (5). An outrigger table (10) fits in front of the work table, being provided with stops and angle plates (11, 14) to suit to work being machined.
