Abstract

The clutch disengagement mechanism can be used in a vehicle, and has an operating lever (1) with a central aperture (2) with diametrally opposite pins (3) projecting inwards. A guide sleeve (4) supports a bearing (6) with a sliding inner ring (5). A stub (15) projects from the guide sleeve (4) to rest against a pin (3). An annular groove (11) in the inner bearing ring sleeve extension (5) accommodates an open spring steel ring (12) and the pins (3) rest in this groove (11) with some play. The stub (15) is formed part way round the spring band (12). Lever (1) rotation is transmitted to the bearing (6) and spring membrane (10) to disengage the coupling.
