Abstract

The declutching mechanism has an operating element (10) which acts on a further element (11) to effect the declutching operation. An autocentring mechanism is positioned between the elements (10, 11) the autocentering mechanism having an advancing device controlled by a Belleville washer spring. The element (11) has a ball bearing whose outer race bears against the declutching device. The inner race of the bearing has a portion which bears against a ring (12) on the operating element under the action of the Belleville spring, which also bears against a face (31) in a channel section ring (32) supported by the ring (12).
