Abstract

The piston compressor has suction and pressure valves arranged on a multiple seat plate. This plate is stretched between cylinder and cylinder cover and is liquid-cooled. The seat plate consists of a relief surfaced bottom section, and a flat top plate. The top section has bores through which coolant chambers in the cylinder cover are connected with coolant channels in the seat plate. At least one coolant channel (35) passes through the pressure chamber (18) in the cylinder cover (10). The coolant channel (35) is to pipe whic is cast in the cylinder cover (6), and consists of several channels sections joined end-to-end.
