Abstract

The drain body (1) receives a lesser dia. sleeve (9) sliding within the body so that it may be adjusted to various depths of floor construction. The body has an external flange (2) to seat a subfloor waterproofing membrance (6) which is held by threaded studs, and clamp plates (5). A sealing ring (11) between the body (1) and sleeve (9) has sealing lips abutting the sleeve (9) embedded hoop reinforcement (13), and an external flange (15) which is seated on the waterproofing membrane (6) and fixed by the clamping system which secures the membrane in place. A sealing ring section (14) between the flange and the lips engages an inner lip (8) on the body.
