Abstract

By using and additional lip branching out from the base of the V-shape a design is offered where it is possible to push in the strip with ease, but the additional lip performs a "propping up" action on one of the lips. The sealing strip which may be used for window panes or partition walls, has a V shaped roof design with spreading characteristics enabling at least one lip with a protruding beaded edge to provide adequate sealing in a downwards and upwards direction when deformation takes place under applied pressure.
