Abstract

1504285 Glazing R BOOMER 28 April 1975 [8 June 1974] 25513/74 Heading EIR A window has a stepped frame 9 and a strip 10 securing a pane, the strip having a first limb 11 against a parallel surface of the frame and having an extension 18 extending away from the pane to contact a perpendicular frame surface 12, a second limb 13 parallel to the first, a shelf 15 extending downwardly from the first limb to and beyond the second limb 13, a resilient ramp 16 extending from the shelf towards the extension 18 to form a gap 17 for the pane, a hole 20 in the base of the ramp. Clips 19 are spaced along the edge of the pane to space the pane edge from the limb 11 and shelf 15. The strip is of aluminium or plastics.
