Abstract

Multi-purpose tool for restoration of glass, wooden or marble surfaces; features interchangeable heads (12) and a rotating lockable handle (17) facilitating access to tight corners etc. The portable tool housing (1, 2) contains a variable speed motor (3) transmitting drive to the work head. The motor speed is regulated by an electronic adjuster (5) attached to a control button (6). Drive is transmitted from motor pinion (7) to head pinion (9) via serrated belt (8) at a ratio of 1:3. The axle (10) bearing the head pinion (9) also bears wheel type work heads (12) which can have brush, grinding or scouring rims. The tool housing (1, 2) is of aluminium alloy of moulded plastic.
