Abstract

Two arms (31, 32) joined by base (33) have central curved parts (31a, 32a). The thickness of the arms decreases from the curve but they get wider. An insulating wedge (100) is placed over the foot of the rail. The attachment is placed around bolt (50), with the ends of the arms pressed against the wedge (100). The base (33) is placed on a support plate (110) sunk into the sleeper. The head washer (60) is placed on the bolt (50) and nut (51) tightened. The attachment bends such that the lower ends of the arms (31b, 32b) and the lower part of curves (31a, 32a) and the base are in the same plane.
