Abstract

The observation space contains all the points from which the magnified virtual picture is fully visible. The index of refraction of the refractive material is greater than unity. The space between the half-silvered mirror, the object and the beam exit surface is filled with the refractive material. The plane mirror can be inclined through 45 deg. relative to the observation axis of the magnifying glass. The concave mirror is close to the surface of the object and the half-silvered mirror. The refractive material is placed between the object, the mirrors and a point on the observation axis which defines the position of an exit surface.
