Abstract

The sun blind is particularly for large rooms where successive windows are subjected to the sun rays. Around the inside of the room a track (6) is attached to the wall. The track forms a box section with a slot in the bottom through which passes a shaft to support the blind (5). Each end of the unit has a bogie in the box section which has four rollers. Below the track the blind is mounted on two hinges to enable it to be lifted up. There is a rubber drive wheel (11) under the track. The blind can be raised and lowered and the bogies moved by electric motors.
