Abstract

The valve shaft as it emerges from the valve body is connected by a ball joint to a second shaft which can slide inside a tube but rotates with it. The tube passes through a self aligning bearing and has a hand wheel fixed to its other end. The device is intended for use where the valve must be operated on the other side of the wall and where the hole is not co-axial with the valve shaft.
