Cpds. of formula and their acid-addn. salts; (where R1, R2, R3 = alkyl (C1-C5); R4, R5 = H, alkyl(C1-C5) or R4 + R5 and the attached N-atom form a 5, 6 or 7-membered ring opt. contg. a second heteroatom (O, S or N) and opt. substd. by alkyl; N = 1, 2, 3 or 4), are useful as vasodilators and spasmolytics. Prepd. by condensation of alkoxybenzenes with aminoalkylnitriles and hydrolysis of the imine produced.
