Claims (2)

1. Förfarande för framställning av en kristallin form av den antibakteriska (5R,6S)-2-karbamoyloximetyl-6-[(1R)-hydroxietyl]-2-penem-3-karboxylsyran, vilken form inne-häller tvä molekyler vatten per syramolekyl, kanne -t e c k n a t därav, att mari ' (a) behandlar en lösning av natrium-(5R,6S)-2-karbamoylo-ximetyl-6-[(1R)-hydroxietyl]-2-penem-3-karboxylat med en vattenhaltig syra eller med ett surt harts i H1-form, (b) utspäder med vatten, varefter eventuellt närvarande föroreningar eller rester avlägsnas och (c) ätervinner den bildade kristalliniska formen av pe-nemsyran och, om sä önskas, (d) blandar den bildade kristalliniska formen av nämnda penemsyran med en svag bas och/eller, om sä önskas, (e) formulerar den bildade kristalliniska penemsyran eller blandningen av den kristalliniska penemsyran och den svaga basen med ett farmaceutiskt godtagbart bärarmedel eller utspädningsmedel. ♦ . .
