Abstract

Freno de multidisco, del tipo que comprende un primer disco rotatorio sólido con un cubo que se conecta a un componente que se ha de frenar, girando. en una dirección especifica de rotación, y un segundo disco rotatorio montado sobre el cubo con posibilidad de deslizarse paralelo a la dirección del eje de este último, coincidiendo unos con otros los ejes del cubo y de los discos, así como un conjunto de zapatas de fricción que incorporan revestimientos de fricción que se pueden aplicar contra las caras de los discos por medio de un dispositivo de accionamiento, como puede ser un gato hidráulico de horquilla, mientras que el segundo disco va montado en un manguito de estrías internas que se puede deslizar sobre una parte de estrías externas del cubo, asegurando el acoplamiento mutuo de estas estrías que el segundo disco séa impulsado en rotación por el cubo, caracterizado porque comprende un dispositivo que genera entre el manguito y el cubo un par que los obliga alrededor de su eje común enla dirección apropiada que tienda a poner uno contra el otro los flancos de las estrías del cubo y del manguito por los cuales se transmite la fuerza de frenado al cubo.
