Abstract

Un aparato silenciador (1) que tiene una función de purificación de emisiones de escape, estando formado el aparato (1) con una porción de giro (8) en el interior de un paso de flujo (10) de los gases de escape, e incluyendo al menos: una boquilla de inyección (12) dispuesta en el paso de flujo (9) de los gases de escape en un lado situado hacia arriba de la porción de giro (8), para suministrar por inyección un agente reductor líquido; y un convertidor catalítico de reducción (13) dispuesto en el paso de flujo (10) de los gases de escape en un lado situado hacia abajo de la porción de giro (8), para purificar de forma reductiva óxidos de nitrógeno con el agente reductor líquido, donde el aparato silenciador (1) incluye además un elemento difusor que genera un flujo vorticial de gases que avanzan en un plano vertical de la porción de giro (8) produciendo la difusión del agente reductor líquido al flujo de gases de escape, caracterizado porque el elemento difusor es un elemento anular (15) cuya cara circunferencial está dispuesta sustancialmente en paralelo con una dirección de flujo de los gases de escape que fluyen a la porción de giro (8) desde el paso de flujo de gases de escape de lado situado hacia arriba (9), una pluralidad de porciones de abertura (15a) están formadas en la cara circunferencial del elemento anular (15), y los gases de escape que fluyen a la porción de giro (8) desde el paso de flujo de gases de escape de lado situado hacia arriba (9) a través de las porciones de abertura (15a) son inyectados en una dirección hacia fuera del elemento anular (15) para generar por ello el flujo vorticial de gases.
