Abstract

Dispositivo de estanqueidad de gases tóxicos, que se monta a la salida de un árbol de una máquina giratoria y destinado a realizar la estanqueidad entre un fluido gaseoso, tóxico o peligroso, a una presión dada, y el aire exterior eventualmente mezclado con aerosoles en suspensión de un lubricante, caracterizado porque comporta, sucesivamente, una primera junta seca que separa al fluido gaseoso contenido en el interior del cuerpo o carcasa de la máquina, con respecto a una cámara de admisión de una fuga controlada de un gas neutro de obturación, sometido a una presión ligeramente superior a la presión del fluido gaseoso y el cual gas neutro de obturación se opone al franqueamiento de esta citada primera junta seca por este fluido gaseoso tóxico; siendo la diferencia de presiones, a un lado, y a otro de esta primera de un pequeño. valor, valor que se mantiene constante por un regulador exterior al dispositivo; estando la citada cámara de admisión, en su zona opuesta a la citada primera junta, cerrada por un estopero de empuje, el cual comporta un tope solidario de la carcasa de la máquina y un anillo solidario del árbol giratorio; estando este estopero alimentado por un conducto, al menos, de admisión del gas de obturación, sometido a una presión superior a la presión de la atmósfera exterior; de forma que la fuga del estopero de empuje al interior de la citada cámara de admisión resulta evacuada, conjuntamente con la fuga del fluido gaseoso tóxico que haya atravesado la primera junta por contradifusión, hacia un circuito de recuperación exterior, mientras que la fuga del gas de obturación hacia el exterior de la cámara de admisión es admitida en un compartimiento adyacente, delimitado por una parte por el estopero de empuje y por la otra por un anillo flotante, montado en la carcasa y apoyado con un juego limitado contra un asiento solidario de árbol giratorio; de suerte que este anillo flotante crea una pérdida de carga que se opone a la penetración de la atmósfera externa en el interior del compartimiento.
