SE DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA VALORACION ON-LINE DE PROCESOS DE SOLDADURA, ESPECIALMENTE EN SOLDADURA DE RESISTENCIA, UTILIZANDO UNA FUENTE DE ULTRASONIDOS QUE APLICA ANDAS TRANSVERSALES DE CORTE A LA REGION SOLDADA, Y UN RECEPTOR ULTRASONICO. EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE ACUERDO CON LA INVENCION COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: A PARTIR DE LA SEÑAL DE SALIDA DEL RECEPTOR DE ULTRASONIDOS SE ENCUENTRA EL TIEMPO TS AL CUAL SE ALCANZA EL PUNTO TS DE FUSION DEL MATERIAL SOLDADO Y COMIENZA A FORMASE EL CORDON DE SOLDADURA; SE CALCULA EL VOLUMEN V DEL CORDON DE SOLDADURA DURANTE EL PROCESO DE SOLDADO A PARTIR DE LA ATENUACION DE LAS ONDAS TRANSVERSALES DE CORTE DESPUES DE QUE SE HA ALCANZADO EL PUNTO DE FUSION.
