Definitions
- the invention relates to a support structure for attaching at least one attachment to a swimming pool, a wall element and a swimming pool.
- the invention also relates to the use of sealing blind rivets to connect pool components of a swimming pool.
- screw connections are often used to connect pool components such as supporting structures, add-on parts or support elements, since these can be attached comparatively quickly.
- screw connections have the disadvantage, among other things, that they have no or only insufficient tightness against liquids or gases. This is especially the case when a screw connection is not made properly or when it loosens due to vibrations.
- ingress or contact with liquids such as water or condensate can be problematic and adversely affect the life of the pool.
- the experts are, for example, from US2016289987A1 known to use sealants such as rubber seals or sealing washers to seal screw connections.
- the object of the present invention was to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide means by means of which pool components of a swimming pool and also a supporting structure can be assembled easily and quickly, while at the same time a high-quality and durable construction can be produced target.
- a support structure for attaching at least one attachment to a swimming pool, by a wall element and by a swimming pool, and by the inventive use of sealing blind rivets for connecting pool components of a swimming pool according to the claims.
- the invention relates to a support structure for fastening at least one attachment to a swimming pool, the support structure comprising at least one support element which is connected to the at least one attachment by means of at least one sealing blind rivet, the at least one sealing blind rivet being designed to seal against liquids and/or gases is.
- add-on parts can be mounted or attached to a support element of the support structure and subsequently to a swimming pool in a simple manner and also quickly and thus inexpensively.
- assembly can also be carried out quickly and at the same time with high quality by less experienced or less qualified personnel.
- differently designed attachments or also several attachments can be attached. Sealing against liquids and/or gases is particularly important when using support structures for stainless steel swimming pools and can sometimes have a significant impact on their service life.
- connections by means of sealed blind rivets can be made quickly and easily and in particular also in places or positions that are difficult to access. Screw connections can also sometimes be difficult to attach to assembly positions that are difficult to reach, or corresponding additionally required sealing means can only be attached with great effort and in additional work steps.
- a mechanical connection and at the same time a sealing effect are achieved by means of a blind rivet connection in a single assembly step.
- connections using sealed blind rivets are qualitative compared to screw connections higher quality and yet faster to produce.
- a blind rivet connection can remain firm or stable over a longer period of time, while screw connections can also come loose or even come loose as a result of vibrations or other influences.
- the sealed blind rivet comprises a rivet head, a rivet mandrel and a rivet sleeve closed on one side, and that the rivet sleeve is arranged in a first opening in the support element and in a second opening opposite the first opening in the at least one attachment and the support element and the at least one attachment connects.
- the openings can be, for example, a round hole, and in particular also a bore, in which case the openings can be sufficiently dimensioned to enable the rivet sleeve to be passed through.
- the first and the second opening are at least approximately the same size.
- a sealing effect of the sealing blind rivet can be additionally improved.
- sealing blind rivets can be designed according to DIN EN ISO 16585. It can also be advantageous here if the rivet sleeve is designed in the shape of a cup, with the rivet sleeve being formed in one piece with a cup base at its closed end.
- a rivet mandrel is provided in the rivet sleeve, which is closed on one side on the side of the rivet to be upset, the rivet mandrel being connected to the rivet head and protruding on one side from the open end of the rivet sleeve.
- the rivet head connected to the rivet mandrel is pulled out in the same way.
- the shape of the rivet head causes a deformation or compression of the closed end of the rivet sleeve and thus a connection and simultaneous sealing of the riveting point. Since the rivet mandrel has a predetermined breaking point at its connection point with the rivet head, this connection breaks as soon as the riveting process is complete.
- the rivet head remains in the deformed rivet sleeve.
- the components of the sealing blind rivets can be made of stainless steel. Of course, sealing blind rivets made of other materials such as aluminum or copper are also conceivable.
- the selection of the most suitable material can be based on the type and design of the support element or the add-on part.
- the at least one support element comprises a first support area with a first surface and a second support area with a second surface
- a load transfer structure of the swimming pool is provided with a first support surface and a second support surface
- the first support area being used for production a frictional and/or form-fitting connection with the first support surface of the load transfer structure
- the second support area is set up for producing a frictional and/or form-fit connection with the second support surface of the load transfer structure
- the first surface of the first support area is set up by a distance is spaced in a direction orthogonal to the second surface of the second support portion.
- a load transfer structure of a swimming pool can be, for example, planking or a wall or a wall element.
- a load transfer structure can include, in particular, structures made of metal, glass, plastics or composite materials that are in the form of sheet metal, plates, profiles or boards.
- a load transfer structure can be formed by a stainless steel sheet, a glass plate, a plexiglass plate or by a plastic film.
- the support element can be connected to the add-on part by means of the at least one sealing blind rivet and this assembly can then be coupled to the load transfer structure or hooked into it, producing the frictional and/or positive connection. Especially when the production of this frictional and/or form-fitting connection takes place without tools, this can further reduce the installation time of the swimming pool.
- the at least one attachment includes a water drainage channel. Due to the permanent contact with water, it is particularly important for add-on parts, which are designed as water drainage channels, that connections with a supporting element are permanently stable and also maintenance-free and leakproof. A high-quality, permanent connection is essential because the connection points can no longer be reached or accessed after the swimming pool has been installed and commissioned, or can only be reached with considerable effort.
- a sealant is arranged between the support element and the at least one add-on part, in particular in the region of the at least one sealed blind rivet.
- sealing fluids such as pastes or adhesives can be applied to the finished riveted joint.
- elastomers or elastomer-based sealants such as sealing mats or rubber are used.
- These can also be arranged between the support element and the add-on part, so that direct contact between the surfaces or metal sheets to be connected can be prevented or avoided. This can, among other things, also contribute to preventing or reducing undesired rattling noises or vibrations.
- the support element is made primarily of metal, plastic or composite materials and/or for the at least one add-on part to be made primarily of metal, plastic or composite materials, depending on the requirements for the stability of the construction or the design of the swimming pool.
- support elements or add-on parts made of metal can be particularly dimensionally stable and also durable, while those made of plastic or composite materials are mostly comparatively light.
- supporting elements or add-on parts made of plastic or composite materials can make a positive contribution to sound decoupling and thus improve the quality of the construction with regard to its acoustic properties.
- stiffening elements can also be used as attachment points for manipulating the construction during assembly, such as for lifting.
- stiffening elements can be formed from metal sheets or bent metal sheets.
- a connection between the stiffening element and the at least two support elements can be made, for example, by means of at least one sealed blind rivet, which is constructed in the same way as the sealed blind rivet that is provided for connecting the support element to the attachment. Appropriate openings can be provided for this purpose both in the two support elements and in the stiffening element.
- Corrosion as a result of condensation can be a problem, particularly at connection points which, at first glance, do not appear to be in direct contact with liquids. This is especially true when it comes to water with additives such as salts or chlorine compounds. While improperly executed welded or screwed connections can corrode unnoticed for a long time, sealed blind rivets can offer better protection and better quality.
- the at least one attachment is a channel, a tank, a pipe, a line, a cladding element and/or a floor element.
- the support element or also several support elements are connected to a plurality of identical or different add-on parts by means of one or more sealed blind rivets.
- a wall element with a support structure and a load transfer structure is also provided, the support structure being designed according to one of the claims.
- Such a wall element can be manufactured in advance as a finished or at least largely finished module and assembled in a final assembly on site, ie at the installation site of the swimming pool.
- add-on parts can be assembled or fastened to a supporting element of the supporting structure and subsequently to a swimming pool in a simple manner and also quickly and thus inexpensively.
- assembly can also be carried out quickly and at the same time with high quality by less experienced or less qualified personnel.
- the wall element is formed with a support element, wherein the support element is formed with at least one support rib and with at least one connecting element, wherein the connecting element is connected to the at least one support rib by means of at least one additional sealed blind rivet.
- the swimming pool is a stainless steel swimming pool
- supporting elements are formed, on which a load transfer structure, or planking or wall of the swimming pool can be arranged to support.
- a load-bearing structure is formed by a sheet of steel or stainless steel
- a connection between a support element and a load-bearing structure is made by gluing, so that there is no optical damage on the visible side of the wall element, i.e. on the later inside of the pool impairments can occur.
- a connection between the components of the support element i.e.
- the support elements can also have an additional function in that they are not only used to stabilize the swimming pool wall or planking, but can also serve to accommodate or stabilize the supporting structure at the same time.
- a connection between the supporting structure and the support element by means of at least one additional sealing blind rivet can be advantageous.
- a swimming pool comprising one or more wall elements and a pool floor is also provided, with the wall element or elements being designed according to one of the claims.
- the invention also relates to the use of sealing blind rivets for connecting pool components of a swimming pool and for sealing the pool components against liquids and/or gases. While in the production of swimming pools, and here in particular in the production of stainless steel swimming pools, previously complex, expensive or qualitatively insufficient screw, adhesive and also welded connections were common, the inventive use of sealed blind rivets for the connection of various similar or also various pool components thanks to quick and high-quality assembly at low costs. A lifespan of the swimming pool and a high-quality product are made possible in equal measure.
- the pool components are a supporting structure, an add-on part, a support element and/or a wall element.
- the service life of a product can be increased with the use of sealed blind rivets, especially for pool components that are permanently or only occasionally exposed to liquids or condensates.
- the supporting structure 1 comprises at least one supporting element 4, which is connected to the at least one attachment 2 by means of at least one sealing blind rivet 5, 21, 26, the at least one sealing blind rivet 5, 21, 26 being designed for sealing against liquids and/or gases.
- Both the support element 4 and the add-on part 2 are formed, for example, by a metal sheet, with FIGS. Of course, it is not absolutely necessary for the two sheets to have the same thickness or material thickness.
- the sealed blind rivet 5 can, as shown, comprise a rivet head 6, a rivet mandrel 7 and a rivet sleeve 8 which is closed on one side.
- the rivet sleeve 8 can be arranged in a first opening 9 in the support element 4 and in a second opening 10 opposite the first opening 9 in the at least one attachment 2 and connect the support element 4 and the at least one attachment 2 .
- the openings 9, 10 can be, for example, punched holes or drilled holes. As shown, the openings 9, 10 can be the same size, although this is not absolutely necessary.
- the rivet sleeve 8 can be cup-shaped, with the rivet sleeve 8 at its closed end in one piece with a Cup bottom can be formed.
- the rivet sleeve 8 can advantageously be designed as a hollow cylinder.
- the sealed blind rivet(s) 5 can be closed blind rivets according to DIN EN ISO 16585.
- a rivet mandrel 7 can be inserted into the rivet sleeve 8 which is closed on one side, which rivet mandrel 7 can protrude from the open side 27 of the rivet sleeve 8 .
- the rivet mandrel 7 can be connected to the rivet head 6, whereby the rivet head 6 can be arranged in the vicinity of the closed area of the rivet body 8.
- FIG. 1a shows a blind rivet 5 inserted into the two openings 9, 10 before the riveting process is carried out.
- the rivet head 6 connected to the rivet mandrel 7 is moved in the same direction.
- the shape of the rivet head 6 can cause a deformation 29 or compression of the closed side 30 of the rivet sleeve 8 and thus a connection of the attachment 2 and the supporting element 4 and at the same time a sealing of the rivet point. Since the rivet mandrel 7 has a predetermined breaking point 31 at its connection point with the rivet head 6, this connection breaks as soon as the riveting process is complete. Like in the Figure 1c shown, the rivet head 6 remains in the deformed rivet sleeve 8.
- a sealant is arranged between the support element 4 and the at least one attachment 2, and in particular in the area of the at least one sealed blind rivet 5.

The object of the present invention was to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide means by means of which pool components of a swimming pool and also a supporting structure can be assembled easily and quickly, while at the same time a high-quality and durable construction can be produced target.
This object is achieved by a support structure for attaching at least one attachment to a swimming pool, by a wall element and by a swimming pool, and by the inventive use of sealing blind rivets for connecting pool components of a swimming pool according to the claims.
The invention relates to a support structure for fastening at least one attachment to a swimming pool, the support structure comprising at least one support element which is connected to the at least one attachment by means of at least one sealing blind rivet, the at least one sealing blind rivet being designed to seal against liquids and/or gases is.
By means of the support structure according to the invention, add-on parts can be mounted or attached to a support element of the support structure and subsequently to a swimming pool in a simple manner and also quickly and thus inexpensively. By using the at least one sealed blind rivet to produce a connection that is tight with respect to gases and liquids, assembly can also be carried out quickly and at the same time with high quality by less experienced or less qualified personnel. It is also conceivable that by means of the support structure differently designed attachments or also several attachments can be attached. Sealing against liquids and/or gases is particularly important when using support structures for stainless steel swimming pools and can sometimes have a significant impact on their service life. While welded connections can only be produced by trained and experienced personnel and with increased expenditure of time, connections by means of sealed blind rivets can be made quickly and easily and in particular also in places or positions that are difficult to access. Screw connections can also sometimes be difficult to attach to assembly positions that are difficult to reach, or corresponding additionally required sealing means can only be attached with great effort and in additional work steps. In contrast, a mechanical connection and at the same time a sealing effect are achieved by means of a blind rivet connection in a single assembly step. By producing a rivet connection, two components, for example two sheets of metal, can be connected to one another and at the same time are also pressed together or pressed against one another or pulled towards one another. As a result, undesirable noises such as rattling noises or vibrations can be held back or even prevented, while screw connections can tend to generate noise. Thus, connections using sealed blind rivets are qualitative compared to screw connections higher quality and yet faster to produce. In particular, a blind rivet connection can remain firm or stable over a longer period of time, while screw connections can also come loose or even come loose as a result of vibrations or other influences.
At this point, it should be pointed out that the term "in particular" is to be understood in the following to mean that it can be a possible more specific design or more detailed specification of an object, but does not necessarily represent a mandatory, preferred embodiment of the same or a mandatory procedure got to.
Furthermore, it can be expedient if the sealed blind rivet comprises a rivet head, a rivet mandrel and a rivet sleeve closed on one side, and that the rivet sleeve is arranged in a first opening in the support element and in a second opening opposite the first opening in the at least one attachment and the support element and the at least one attachment connects.
The openings can be, for example, a round hole, and in particular also a bore, in which case the openings can be sufficiently dimensioned to enable the rivet sleeve to be passed through. Advantageously, the first and the second opening are at least approximately the same size. As a result, a sealing effect of the sealing blind rivet can be additionally improved. However, it can also be advantageous if the two openings are not the same size or are not identical. As a result, a certain degree of adjustability or fine adjustment can be made possible and any dimensional deviations can thus be compensated for.
Sealed blind rivets, their structure, mode of operation and type of assembly are generally known to those skilled in the art and are therefore not described in detail. For example, sealing blind rivets can be designed according to DIN EN ISO 16585. It can also be advantageous here if the rivet sleeve is designed in the shape of a cup, with the rivet sleeve being formed in one piece with a cup base at its closed end. A rivet mandrel is provided in the rivet sleeve, which is closed on one side on the side of the rivet to be upset, the rivet mandrel being connected to the rivet head and protruding on one side from the open end of the rivet sleeve. When the rivet mandrel is pulled out of the rivet sleeve with rivet pliers, the rivet head connected to the rivet mandrel is pulled out in the same way. The shape of the rivet head causes a deformation or compression of the closed end of the rivet sleeve and thus a connection and simultaneous sealing of the riveting point. Since the rivet mandrel has a predetermined breaking point at its connection point with the rivet head, this connection breaks as soon as the riveting process is complete. The rivet head remains in the deformed rivet sleeve. In particular, the components of the sealing blind rivets can be made of stainless steel. Of course, sealing blind rivets made of other materials such as aluminum or copper are also conceivable. Advantageously, the selection of the most suitable material can be based on the type and design of the support element or the add-on part.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the at least one support element comprises a first support area with a first surface and a second support area with a second surface, and that a load transfer structure of the swimming pool is provided with a first support surface and a second support surface, the first support area being used for production a frictional and/or form-fitting connection with the first support surface of the load transfer structure, and wherein the second support area is set up for producing a frictional and/or form-fit connection with the second support surface of the load transfer structure, and wherein the first surface of the first support area is set up by a distance is spaced in a direction orthogonal to the second surface of the second support portion.
A load transfer structure of a swimming pool can be, for example, planking or a wall or a wall element. A load transfer structure can include, in particular, structures made of metal, glass, plastics or composite materials that are in the form of sheet metal, plates, profiles or boards. For example, a load transfer structure can be formed by a stainless steel sheet, a glass plate, a plexiglass plate or by a plastic film.
Advantageously, the support element can be connected to the add-on part by means of the at least one sealing blind rivet and this assembly can then be coupled to the load transfer structure or hooked into it, producing the frictional and/or positive connection. Especially when the production of this frictional and/or form-fitting connection takes place without tools, this can further reduce the installation time of the swimming pool.
In addition, it can be provided that the at least one attachment includes a water drainage channel.
Also advantageous is an embodiment according to which it can be provided that a sealant is arranged between the support element and the at least one add-on part, in particular in the region of the at least one sealed blind rivet.
All sealing means and also sealing methods known in the state of the art are conceivable here. For example, to enhance the sealing effect, sealing fluids such as pastes or adhesives can be applied to the finished riveted joint. However, it can also be the case that elastomers or elastomer-based sealants such as sealing mats or rubber are used. These can also be arranged between the support element and the add-on part, so that direct contact between the surfaces or metal sheets to be connected can be prevented or avoided. This can, among other things, also contribute to preventing or reducing undesired rattling noises or vibrations.
According to a further development, it is possible for the support element to be made primarily of metal, plastic or composite materials and/or for the at least one add-on part to be made primarily of metal, plastic or composite materials, depending on the requirements for the stability of the construction or the design of the swimming pool. For example, support elements or add-on parts made of metal can be particularly dimensionally stable and also durable, while those made of plastic or composite materials are mostly comparatively light. Above all, supporting elements or add-on parts made of plastic or composite materials can make a positive contribution to sound decoupling and thus improve the quality of the construction with regard to its acoustic properties.
Furthermore, it can be expedient if at least two supporting elements are arranged next to one another and by means of at least one stiffening element by means of at least one further sealing blind rivets are connected. As a result, a stable support structure can be formed with simply designed and therefore cost-effective individual components. In particular, stiffening elements can also be used as attachment points for manipulating the construction during assembly, such as for lifting. For example, stiffening elements can be formed from metal sheets or bent metal sheets. A connection between the stiffening element and the at least two support elements can be made, for example, by means of at least one sealed blind rivet, which is constructed in the same way as the sealed blind rivet that is provided for connecting the support element to the attachment. Appropriate openings can be provided for this purpose both in the two support elements and in the stiffening element.
Basically, it can be expedient in the sense of a quick and efficient assembly if all or at least a large part of the required connections can be made using the same connection methods, because the entire work process can be optimized in this way. In particular, the assembly personnel do not have to change tools or pay attention to special requirements for the respective connection. In addition, it can have an advantageous effect on the overall costs if as many components as possible of the same type are used.
Corrosion as a result of condensation can be a problem, particularly at connection points which, at first glance, do not appear to be in direct contact with liquids. This is especially true when it comes to water with additives such as salts or chlorine compounds. While improperly executed welded or screwed connections can corrode unnoticed for a long time, sealed blind rivets can offer better protection and better quality.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the at least one attachment is a channel, a tank, a pipe, a line, a cladding element and/or a floor element. In particular, it can be advantageous if the support element or also several support elements are connected to a plurality of identical or different add-on parts by means of one or more sealed blind rivets.
According to the invention, a wall element with a support structure and a load transfer structure is also provided, the support structure being designed according to one of the claims.
Such a wall element can be manufactured in advance as a finished or at least largely finished module and assembled in a final assembly on site, ie at the installation site of the swimming pool. By means of the wall element according to the invention, add-on parts can be assembled or fastened to a supporting element of the supporting structure and subsequently to a swimming pool in a simple manner and also quickly and thus inexpensively. By using the at least one sealed blind rivet to produce a connection that is tight with respect to gases and liquids, assembly can also be carried out quickly and at the same time with high quality by less experienced or less qualified personnel.
According to an advantageous development, it can be provided that the wall element is formed with a support element, wherein the support element is formed with at least one support rib and with at least one connecting element, wherein the connecting element is connected to the at least one support rib by means of at least one additional sealed blind rivet.
In particular, if the swimming pool is a stainless steel swimming pool, it can be advantageous if supporting elements are formed, on which a load transfer structure, or planking or wall of the swimming pool can be arranged to support. In particular, if a load-bearing structure is formed by a sheet of steel or stainless steel, it can also be expedient if a connection between a support element and a load-bearing structure is made by gluing, so that there is no optical damage on the visible side of the wall element, i.e. on the later inside of the pool impairments can occur. Advantageously, a connection between the components of the support element, i.e. between the support rib and the connecting element, can be made by means of one or more additional sealed blind rivets, which can preferably be constructed identically to the at least one sealed blind rivet between the support element and attachment. A connection that is tight with respect to liquids and in particular condensates can thus be produced quickly and easily. The support elements can also have an additional function in that they are not only used to stabilize the swimming pool wall or planking, but can also serve to accommodate or stabilize the supporting structure at the same time. Here, too, a connection between the supporting structure and the support element by means of at least one additional sealing blind rivet can be advantageous.
According to the invention, a swimming pool comprising one or more wall elements and a pool floor is also provided, with the wall element or elements being designed according to one of the claims.
The invention also relates to the use of sealing blind rivets for connecting pool components of a swimming pool and for sealing the pool components against liquids and/or gases.
It can be the case, for example, that the pool components are a supporting structure, an add-on part, a support element and/or a wall element. The service life of a product can be increased with the use of sealed blind rivets, especially for pool components that are permanently or only occasionally exposed to liquids or condensates.

The
The
The
The
