Definitions
- the invention relates to a tamping unit for a track tamping machine with tamping tools designed as rocker arm pairs, which are designed as rocker arm pairs and whose lower tamping tine ends are driven in opposite directions or synchronously with a vibratory drive in the form of a hydraulic drive and are guided in a tamping unit frame in a height-adjustable manner can be provided hydraulically to one another, each tamping tool having a pick arm pivotably adjustable about a pivot axis on the carrier, at one end of which the associated hydraulic drive engages and at the other end of which at least one pick is attached, and the pick arm is single-legged and on the pivot axis between two carrier-associated ones Axle supports is stored.
- Tamping units penetrate the ballast of a track bed with tamping tools in the area between two sleepers (intermediate compartment), in the area where the sleeper is supported in the ballast under the rail, and compact the ballast through dynamic vibration of the tamping tines between the tamping tines that can be provided opposite one another.
- Turnout tamping machines are equipped with turnout tamping units.
- Line tamping units have tine arms with tamping tines that are firmly connected to them.
- Turnout tamping units have pivot bearings and pick holders linked to the pick arms, with the help of which the tamping tools can be swiveled up (see EP2 286 030 B1 , DE 2 615 334 A1 or EP 0 909 852 B1 ).
- Tamping units of the type described at the outset with a single-legged pick arm that is mounted on the pivot axis between two axle carriers assigned to the carrier are, for example, from FIG U.S. 4,062,292 A , the GB 734 478 A and the U.S. 3,465,688 A known.
- the movements of a tamping unit include the vertical immersion of the tamping tines in the ballast, the set-up movement in which the tamping tine ends are closed to each other and the superimposed dynamic oscillation which causes the actual compaction of the ballast grains.
- the tamping units are lowered at high speed and then braked in the gravel. There are high impact forces.
- the tamping tine plates are statically pressed with high forces against the gravel front, superimposed by high dynamic sinusoidal compression forces.
- the invention is thus based on the object of developing tamping units of the type described above with simple means in such a way that the stability of the entire tamping unit, in particular with carriers, vertical guides, pick arms, pick arm mountings, pivot bearings and the swivel bearing mountings, pick holders and pick holder mountings, is increased.
- the invention solves the problem posed by the features of claim 1.
- the pick arm is not designed with two webs but with only one web, which considerably simplifies the pivot mounting of the pick arm and thus eliminates the need for complex axial seals.
- the moments introduced into the system via the impact forces and the compression forces are considerably reduced, which lowers the stress and the associated wear and tear and increases the service life of the components.
- a pimple holder is provided between the pimple arm and the pimple, which is mounted on the pimple arm with a pivot drive so that it can pivot about an adjusting axis.
- the design according to the invention significantly reduces the compressive forces on the mounting of the pick holder, which considerably increases the durability of the bushes, bolts and eyes and thus lowers maintenance costs and increases the availability and reliability of the tamping machine.
- the mounting of the pimple holder is designed to act as a single web in the direction of force and not asymmetrically, which is why the acting forces and moments are further reduced.
- the The adjustment axis is arranged perpendicular to the pivot axis and the point of application of the hydraulic drive on the pick arm, the longitudinal axis of the pick arm and the adjustment axis lie in a common plane that lies between the two carrier-associated axle carriers.
- each pick arm is assigned at least two pick holders pivotably mounted on the pick arm about the common adjusting axis, which are designed as identical parts and are preferably pivotably mounted by means of sliding bushings on the adjusting axis fixed in rotation in the pick arm.
- the hydraulic drive engaging the pick arm at one end engages the carrier at the other end via a bearing block.
- the bearing block for the linkage of the tamping drives is designed as a separate component, which can be adapted and connected to the carrier if necessary.
- the advantages of this embodiment according to the invention are the considerably lower wear, the longer service life of the bearings used, the elimination of lubrication and the simplicity of assembly and ease of maintenance. This saves material, repair and labor costs during assembly, overhauls or repairs.
- the elimination of lubricants and lubricant systems is also an advantage in terms of sustainability and reduced environmental pollution.
- the constructive solution to set up two swiveling ice ax holders next to each other brings the further advantage of greater swiveling ability.
- the use of a pivot bearing within which the pick holder of the inner pick rotates makes it difficult to pivot the pick up sufficiently.
- the two pick holders on one side of the tamping unit are made identically as cast parts. When assembling, only one of them is rotated 180 ° around the vertical axis. This reduces storage costs for customers. Due to the same design, both are stressed the same and not differently as with the conventional design with swivel bearing and ice ax holder.
- Fig. 1 shows a conventional (prior art) switch tamping unit 1 with guide columns 2 on which the tamping box slides up and down as a carrier 3 for the tamping tools.
- the pick arm 5 is articulated to the pivot bearing 7 and the pick holder 8 so that the pick 9 can be pivoted upwards.
- 6 shows the rotary actuators. Via the fully hydraulic tamping drive 4, the pick arm is closed during tamping with simultaneously superimposed vibration.
- Fig. 2 shows schematically a switch tamping unit 1 according to the invention with guide columns 2 on which the tamping box slides up and down as a carrier 3 for the tamping tools.
- the pick arm 5 is connected in an articulated manner to the pick holder 17 and the pick holder 16 so that the pick 9 can be pivoted upwards by means of the swivel drive 6. Via the fully hydraulic tamping drive 4, the pick arm is closed during tamping with simultaneously superimposed vibration.
- 25 is the console to which the tamping drive 4 is connected.
- the hydraulic drive 4 acts on the pick arm 5 at one end and on the carrier 3 at the other end via a bearing block 25.
- This bearing block 25 is manufactured separately and then connected to the carrier 3. This allows the tamping unit 1 according to the invention to also be used with tamping drives configured differently (for example eccentric drives).
- Fig. 3 shows schematically on the left side the execution of a conventional (prior art) pick arm 5a with articulated pivot bearing and pick holder in the view from the left side and on the right side the embodiment 5 according to the invention with two pick holders 16, 17.
- FB shows the point at which force is introduced by the tamping drive 4.
- FP shows the reaction forces that occur on the pimple plates of the pimples during tamping.
- the auxiliary force FB is disadvantageously introduced asymmetrically into the pick-up arm bearing at a distance a.
- the supply force is introduced exactly in the same plane, so that no parasitic forces and moments occur.
- the pimples 9 of the tamping units 1 penetrate the ballast bed at high speed and are then strongly braked.
- these impact forces FS are primarily introduced into the vertical guides via a significantly larger moment arm b than in the embodiment c according to the invention.
- the acting moments and the stress on the stuffing box 3 and the vertical guides 2 are therefore considerably greater in the conventional design 14 than in the system 15 designed according to the invention Moments and forces claimed. This increases the service life of the individual components and bearings and reduces wear.
- Fig. 4 shows on the left the conventional (prior art) pick arm 5a with attachments in the view from the front and on the right side the embodiment according to the invention.
- FB shows the combined support and vibration force acting on the pick arm from the tamping drive.
- 6a and 6b show the rotary actuators.
- 7 is referred to as the adjusting bearing and 8 as the pimple holder.
- the designation adjusting bearing 7 refers to the fact that the shaft is pressed into the adjusting bearing component 7 and rotates with it when it is pivoted.
- sliding bushings are therefore built into the pick holder 8, which rotates on the shaft of the pivot bearing 7.
- the pick holder 16 of the outer pick and the pick holder 17 of the inner pick sit next to one another on a stationary shaft which is pressed into the pick arm 5.
- the pick arms 5 are mounted in the pick box 3 via 11a and 11b.
- FS denotes the immersion impact forces and FP the pimple compacting forces.
- the surface pressures are essential for the wear of the bushings.
- SL shows schematically the areas in which the axle is pressed.
- PH shows schematically the surface of the sliding bushes of the pick holder 8.
- the size of the surfaces of the two pick holders PH1 and PH2 of the embodiment according to the invention are firstly the same and secondly are significantly larger than in the conventional embodiment PH. With the embodiment 15 according to the invention, significantly lower surface pressures occur with the same acting forces, and this is associated with a correspondingly reduced wear.
- Fig. 5 shows schematically on the left a pick arm in the conventional (prior art) embodiment 5a with two diverging webs and an embodiment according to the invention of the pick arm 5 with only one central web in the right picture.
- Fig. 6 shows on the left schematically a setting bearing 7 and a pimple holder 8 in a conventional (state of the art) design that rotates on the axis fixed in the pivot bearing 7 and an inventive design of the pimple holders 16, 17 for the inner and outer pimples.
- the pimple holders 16 and 17 are as the same components executed. 17 corresponds to 16 rotated by 180 ° around the vertical axis.
- the pick holders 16 and 17 sit next to one another and rotate on an axis that is fixed in the pick arm 5.
- Fig. 7 shows schematically on the left the design of the conventional (prior art) pivot mounting of the pick arm and on the right the much simpler design according to the invention of the pivot mounting of the pick arm.
- the pick arm 5a in the conventional design is designed with two webs and is connected to the eye of the pick box 3 via a bush 20 and spacers 22 with the help of a bolt 18 and screwed 23.
- radial seals are placed on the left and right of the bearing 21 installed which are fixed with spacer caps 19.
- the embodiment according to the invention has the single-legged pick arm 5 in the middle around which the eyes of the pick box 3 close.
- the pick arm 5 is screwed 23 to the pick box 3 with the aid of the bolt 18 via lubrication-free slide bushes 20 and spacer disks 24.

Description
A , derGB 734 478 A US 3 465 688 A bekannt.
