Definitions

  • the invention relates to a conservatory awning with a rotatably mounted fabric shaft from which a fabric can be unwound, the front end of which is attached to an extension profile in the extension direction, the extension profile being movably mounted on guide rails. Furthermore, the invention relates to a patio roof with such a conservatory awning. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for controlling such a conservatory awning.
  • conservatory awnings are known. Awnings in which the extension profile is movably mounted on guide rails are referred to as conservatory awnings, since this type of awning is intended in particular for installation above a patio roof or a conservatory.
  • a conservatory awning is known with a rotatably mounted fabric shaft, from which a fabric can be unwound, the front end of which in the extension direction is attached to an extension profile, the extension profile being movably mounted on guide rails, the extension profile having a valance shaft from which a valance can be unwound and after can be extended down along other guide rails.
  • an extendable sun protection is known with an extension profile to which a cloth is attached, with a motor-driven extendable valance being attached to the extension profile, with the valance motor being fed by an accumulator which is attached in or on the extension profile and, when the sun protection is retracted, with a Power source can be connected for charging.
  • an awning with a valance is known with an extension profile to which a cloth that can be pulled off a rotatably mounted fabric shaft is attached, with an extendable valance being arranged on the extension profile and with the valance being able to be unwound from a rotatably mounted valance shaft, with the valance shaft at least in its central
  • the area is supported by a support or support surface and the valance shaft can be moved back and forth in the extension direction of the valance.
  • an extendable sun protection is known with at least two guide rails, on or on each of which a carriage moves, on which the extending profile is attached, which pulls a sun protection surface in particular a cloth from a roll.
  • the guide rails are mounted in holders so that they can be moved longitudinally and, when extended, protrude beyond the area or body to be shaded.
  • an awning is known with an actuatable winding shaft for a first awning fabric connected to a dropout tube and with an actuatable winding shaft arranged in the dropout tube for a second awning fabric that can be adjusted independently of the failure of the first awning fabric.
  • an awning consisting of a rotatably drivable winding shaft for an awning fabric, and a extension tube connected to the winding shaft at a distance that can be changed, the awning fabric being fastened to the winding shaft on the one hand and fixed to the extension tube on the other hand, and a freely hanging valance being provided on the extension tube, whereby the free length of the valance can be changed.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a conservatory awning with a valance that has a high level of operational reliability and a high level of security against incorrect operation.
  • conservatory awnings with a rotatably mounted fabric shaft from which a fabric can be unwound, the front end of which is attached to an extension profile in the extension direction, with the extension profile being movably mounted on guide rails, that the extension profile has a valance shaft from which a valance can be developed and extended downwards.
  • Front refers to the extension direction of the extension profile.
  • the extension profile is accordingly at the rear, ie at the rear ends of the guide rails running in the extension direction.
  • the extension profile along the guide rails is at most backwards in the extension direction moved forward and is thus located at the front end of the guide rails.
  • conservatory awning and awning are used synonymously.
  • Designated within the meaning of the invention is such an embodiment in which the extension profile is movably mounted on guide rails.
  • roller tube can be driven by an electric motor and/or the extension profile can be retracted and/or extended by means of an actuating means, in particular by means of a driven traction means.
  • the extension profile has a flounce shaft from which a flounce can be unwound.
  • the valance can be designed both with, in particular, vertically running guide elements or without guide elements, in particular it can be extended vertically downwards in a freely hanging manner.
  • the valance can be guided, in particular, on guide elements that are arranged vertically.
  • a terminating profile can be arranged at the front end of the valance in the extension direction. This terminating profile can hang freely or, alternatively, be guided on guide elements that are arranged in particular vertically.
  • the fabric shaft is driven by a fabric shaft motor and the valance shaft is driven by an electric motor by means of a valance shaft motor, with the fabric shaft motor and the valance shaft motor being actuated by a control unit that is set up in such a way that the valance can only be extended and/or retracted when the extension profile is fully extended of the extension profile is only possible when the valance is fully retracted.
  • both the cloth shaft and the valance shaft can each be driven by means of an electric motor, in particular by means of an electric motor that can be actuated by a remote control.
  • An intelligent control ensures that the extension profile can only be retracted when the valance is retracted and/or the valance can only be extended when the extension profile is fully extended. This prevents the valance from being extended at a point where it is still above a canopy or the like. Furthermore, damage to the valance is reliably prevented if retraction of the extension profile is only possible when the valance is retracted, ie an extended valance has previously been retracted.
  • the valance shaft motor is particularly preferably fed by an accumulator, in particular that the extension profile has an accumulator for supplying power to the valance shaft motor.
  • the accumulator can be charged via contacts that are automatically closed when the extension profile is fully retracted and establish a connection to a power supply.
  • the accumulator can be charged inductively without contact, in particular that inductive charging of the accumulator takes place automatically when the extension profile is fully retracted.
  • the connection to the power source is made via electrical contacts. It is particularly advantageous if, when the sun protection is retracted, the connection to the power source is made by induction via coils, so that insufficient contact cannot occur.
  • the valance shaft is received by the extension profile and is rotatably mounted, in particular, in the extension profile.
  • the fact that the valance shaft is accommodated by the extension profile means that the valance shaft is arranged in or on the extension profile.
  • the Ausfahrprofil is formed by a hollow profile, within which the Valance shaft is recorded and rotatably mounted so that the valance can be unwound from the valance shaft and extended downwards.
  • the valance shaft is preferably received by the extension profile and rotatably mounted in the extension profile by means of valance shaft bearings, the valance shaft bearings being mounted in sliding blocks that slide in slotted guides, so that the valance shaft can be moved back and forth in the extension direction of the valance.
  • each sliding block can be fixed at any point on its link guide and it is possible to set and limit the sliding path of the sliding blocks by means of adjustable stops in the link guide.
  • the feature according to which the valance shaft can be moved back and forth in the extension direction of the valance means that the ability to move back and forth has at least one component in the extension direction of the valance.
  • the floating mounting of the valance shaft in sliding blocks ensures that the valance shaft can be moved back and forth.
  • the link guide can therefore preferably be vertical, but the link guide can also be inclined relative to the vertical, in particular inclined in such a way that the unwinding line of the valance from the valance shaft always remains in the same position even with a changing valance winding shaft diameter, so that the unwound valance is not in In the direction of the terrace canopy, it migrates in the opposite direction to the exit direction of the exit profile or in the direction of the exit direction of the exit profile.
  • the valance shaft is preferably accommodated by the extension profile and a support is arranged, by means of which the valance shaft is supported.
  • a support means that the valance shaft is supported against the weight force, so that the valance shaft is prevented from bending.
  • Such a support is particularly advantageous in combination with a floating mounting of the valance shaft in sliding blocks, as a result of which the valance shaft always rests on the support and is supported by it against the weight force, regardless of the valance winding shaft diameter, which changes depending on the extent to which the valance is extended.
  • the support can be formed by a support surface.
  • the support surface preferably has at least one friction-reducing insert and/or overlay. Because the support surface has at least one friction-reducing insert and/or pad, the static friction between the roll of the valance and the support surface is reduced, and in particular the roll of valance is prevented from sticking to the support surface. It is particularly advantageous that for winding and unwinding the valance, due to the reduced static friction between the valance roll and the support surface, only lower forces or torques are required on the winding shaft and at the same time the valance cloth can be evenly wound up on the valance shaft to form a roll .
  • the friction-reducing inserts and/or pads are formed by brushes and/or felt and/or fibrous web.
  • the inserts and/or supports are in the form of strips, in particular in the form of strips parallel to the axis of the winding shaft.
  • the inserts and/or supports preferably lie in a form-fitting manner in corresponding recesses in the support surface, in particular in dovetail grooves or T-shaped grooves.
  • the inserts and/or supports can lie in corresponding recesses of the support surface, in particular in grooves, in a non-positive manner, in particular by clamping.
  • the inserts and/or overlays can be glued onto the support surface.
  • the supporting surface preferably has a concave shape, in particular a part-cylindrical shape.
  • the curvature of the cylinder surface is preferably adapted to the curvature of the outer circumference of the valance roll that is completely wound up on the valance shaft.
  • the support surface preferably extends over almost the entire length of the valance corrugation, or its extent corresponds to the length of the valance corrugation or the width of the valance.
  • the term width of the valance means the width of the cloth to be wound up on the valance shaft to form a valance roll along the valance shaft, which is usually somewhat smaller than the length of the valance shaft.
  • the support surface has a guide edge for the valance cloth which is directed towards the unwinding direction of the planar shading and/or privacy protection element and on which the valance cloth can slide when being wound up and unwound.
  • the guiding edge is preferably convexly curved, so that the valance always rests on a large support surface and can slide gently along it.
  • the support surface is preferably designed in such a way that it supports the roll of the valance against the force of gravity.
  • the support surface extends over an angle of 90° to 180°, in particular at least 120°, around the wound bale. As a result, a large-area support of the winding bale is possible.
  • the patio roof especially conservatory
  • an awning according to the invention that the awning projects beyond the patio roof in the extension direction, so that the valance arranged on the extension profile can be extended vertically downwards when the extension profile is fully extended.
  • the patio canopy can be a patio canopy open on one or more sides or a conservatory.
  • extension direction refers to the exit profile.
  • the extension profile is accordingly at the rear, ie at the rear ends of the guide rails running in the extension direction.
  • the extension profile is moved forward along the guide rails in the extension direction as far as possible and is therefore located at the front end of the guide rails.
  • the awning protrudes beyond the patio roof in the extension direction. This ensures that the valance arranged in or on the extension profile in front of the patio canopy can be freely extended downwards without colliding with the patio canopy.
  • the guide rails preferably protrude beyond the patio roof in the extension direction of the extension profile.
  • the guide rails can be telescoped in the extension direction of the extension profile and protrude beyond the terrace roofing in the extension direction of the extension profile when the extension profile is fully extended.
  • the guide rails can thus be made longer than corresponds to the extension of the patio roof in the extension direction of the extension profile.
  • the guide rails can be telescopic, so that when the end area of the patio roof is reached, the guide rails are extended telescopically, so that the ends of the guide rails protrude beyond the patio roof in the extension direction. In this way, the valance can then be extended vertically downwards in front of the patio roof and provide protection against slanting sunlight.
  • valance can only be extended when the extension profile is fully extended and the extension profile can only be retracted when the valance is fully retracted.
  • the control unit When a control command to extend the valance is received, the control unit first checks whether the extension profile is fully extended, in particular that the extension profile is fully extended before the valance is extended due to the control command. Furthermore, when a control command for retracting the extension profile is received, the control unit first checks whether the valance is completely retracted, in particular that the valance is retracted before the extension profile is retracted due to the control command.
  • a conservatory 1 with a conservatory awning 2 arranged above the roof of the conservatory 1 is shown.
  • the conservatory is formed by the post 10, the roof support 11 and the cross member 12.
  • the walls of conservatory 1 and the roof of conservatory 1 are each glazed.
  • Above the rafters 11 a conservatory awning 2 is arranged.
  • a housing is arranged at the rear end of the guide rails 22, in which a roller tube is rotatably mounted.
  • the concept of the rear end refers to the extension direction, which is indicated by the arrow A.
  • a cloth can be unwound from the roller tube by moving the extension profile 24 in the direction A along the guide rails 22 .
  • the conservatory awning has appropriate drive means, by means of which the extension profile 24 is moved in the extension direction A or counter to the extension direction A.
  • the extension profile 24 is movably mounted on the guide rails 22 which are arranged on both sides of the cloth 27 and extend in the extension direction A.
  • the guide rails 22 are attached to the rafters 11 of the conservatory 1 by means of support feet 23 . In the extension direction A, the guide rails 22 of the conservatory awning 2 protrude beyond the roof of the conservatory 1.
  • a valance 25 can be extended in front of the front of the conservatory 1 down.
  • a valance shaft is accommodated and rotatably mounted in the extension profile 24, so that a valance 25 can be unwound from the valance shaft and extended downwards.
  • an end profile 26 is arranged. Due to the valance 25 extended downwards in the direction of arrow B, the conservatory is not only shaded from the sun's rays from above, but also against sunlight incident at an angle on the front side of the conservatory 1 .
  • the front cloth end of the valance 25 hangs freely downwards and can be extended downwards by actuating, i.e. rotating the valance shaft.
  • the valance shaft has shaft journals, not shown, with which it is rotatably mounted in sliding blocks.
  • the sliding blocks are mounted in slotted guides of bearing supports in such a way that they can move back and forth independently of one another in the direction of arrow B in the direction of a support surface within the extension profile 24 in the extension direction B of the valance 25, i. H. that the valance roll always bears against the support surface, regardless of its diameter, which changes as a function of the extent to which the valance is extended, and the support surface thus counteracts a deflection of the valance shaft with the valance roll.
  • the support surface has a part-cylindrical surface which faces towards the valance roll and the diameter of which corresponds approximately to the diameter of the valance roll when fully wound up.
  • the support device On the inside of the support surface, i. H. on the support surface in the direction of the roll of valance, the support device has a plurality of friction-reducing inserts each lying in grooves. The arrangement of the friction-reducing inserts supports the roll of valance against the force of gravity directed in the direction of arrow B and ensures smooth sliding of the roll of valance on the support surface within the extension profile 24 receiving the valance shaft and prevents the valance shaft from bending.
  • the valance winding shaft is accordingly shifted vertically downwards in the lateral bearings, so that the valance winding bale always rests on the support surface and is supported by it.
  • the arrangement of a support surface and the floating mounting of the valance shaft in sliding blocks that slide in link guides reliably prevent the valance shaft from bending with the roll.
  • the fabric shaft is driven by a fabric shaft motor and the valance shaft is driven by an electric motor by means of a valance shaft motor, with the fabric shaft motor and the valance shaft motor being actuated by a control unit that is set up in such a way that the valance 25 can only be extended and retracted when the extension profile 24 is fully extended of the extension profile 24 is only possible when the valance 25 is fully retracted.
