Zwischen dem Garniturträger (10) und dem Rundkammträger (9, 30) sind in einem jeweiligen Endbereich (26) des Garniturträgers (10) zumindest zwei Verstelleinrichtungen (27) vorgesehen zur Verstellung eines Abstandes (A, B) zwischen dem Garniturträger (10) und dem Rundkammträger (9, 30). Das Zangenaggregat wird gebildet aus einem Zangenrahmen 14, an welchem eine untere Zangenplatte 15 und eine obere Zangenplatte 16 befestigt ist. In der gezeigten Ausführungsform ist das Zangenaggregat geschlossen, wobei der aus der Klemmstelle des Zangenaggregates herausragende Faserbart 17 von der Kämmgarnitur 13 erfasst und ausgekämmt wird. Dabei wird die Auskämmung wesentlich durch den Abstand C zwischen der unteren Zangenplatte 15 und einem Hüllkreis 2 der Kämmgarnitur 13 bestimmt. Ebenfalls im Zangenrahmen 14 ist oberhalb der unteren Zangenplatte 15 eine Speisewalze 18 drehbar gelagert, welche z. B. von einem nicht gezeigten Klinkenantrieb schrittweise angetrieben wird. Über diese Speisewalze 18 wird eine der Kämmvorrichtung 1 zugeführte Watte 19 (oder einzelne Faserbänder) der Klemmstelle des Zangenaggregates zugeführt. Nach erfolgtem Auskämmvorgang des Faserbartes 17 wird das Zangenaggregat in Richtung eines nachfolgenden Abreisswalzenpaare 20 verschwenkt. Bei diesem Schwenkvorgang öffnet sich das Zangenaggregat und das ausgekämmte Ende der Watte 19 bzw. der Faserbart 17 wird auf das Ende eines zuvor gebildeten Faservlieses 21 aufgelegt und unter Einwirkung der Klemmstelle der Abreisswalzen 20 mit diesem verlötet und in Förderrichtung 22 abtransportiert.The pliers assembly is formed from a

Der Flachkeil 32 ist L-förmig ausgebildet, wobei ein erster Schenkel radial vom Rundkammträger 9 gegen den Garniturträger 10 gerichtet ist und ein zweiter Schenkel in Richtung der Rundkammachse 6 zwischen den Rundkammträger 9 und den Garniturträger 10 greift. Der zwischen den Rundkammträger 9 und den Garniturträger 10 greifende zweite Schenkel des Flachkeils 32 ist auf der dem Garniturträger 10 zugewandten Seite mit einer Abschrägung 36 versehen, sodass sich ein zwischen dem Rundkammträger 9 und dem Garniturträger 10 wirksamer Querschnitt des Flachkeils 32 ausgehend vom Ende 33 des Garniturträgers 10 in Richtung der Rundkammachse 6 stetig verjüngt. Weiter ist eine dem Flachkeil 32 zugewandte Gegenfläche 37 des Garniturträgers 10 mit einer der Querschnittsverjüngung des Flachkeils 32 entsprechenden Neigung mit einem Keilwinkel α versehen. Wird nun der Flachkeil 32 in Richtung der Rundkammachse 6 in seiner axialen Position verändert, werden der Rundkammträger 9 und der Garniturträger 10 in radialer Richtung gegeneinander verschoben, womit sich der Abstand A zwischen dem Rundkammträger 9 und dem Garniturträger 10 ändert. Dabei kann die Position des Flachkeils 32 soweit verändert werden, dass der Garniturträger 10 auf dem Rundkammträger 9 zur Anlage kommt und der Abstand A Null wird.The
Weiter ist der Garniturträger 10 auf dem Rundkammträger 9 mit den Verbindungselementen 24 befestigt. Die Verbindungselemente 24 greifen dabei durch eine Öffnung 43 im Flachkeil 32 hindurch, wobei die Öffnung 43 derart gross gestaltet ist, dass in jeder möglichen Position des Flachkeil 32 dieser nicht durch die Verbindungselemente 24 direkt gehalten wird.
