Definitions
- the invention relates to a harness for kitesurfing, windsurfing or sailing according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such harness belts can be designed as a waist harness or as a seat harness and usually have a harness hook that is attached to a front bracket or a front panel.
- a hip belt with a padded back part is attached to this front panel, which is provided with pads reinforcements or the like in the area of the lumbar spine.
- the trapeze must be applied relatively tightly to the body to prevent it from slipping.
- trapezoids usually have a trapezoid fastener in which a snap-hook element is hooked into an eyelet, with adjustable straps between the plate or the front bar and the back part making it possible to adapt to the waist circumference.
- the problem here is that the carabiner has to be hooked into the eyelet with a relatively large amount of force in order to ensure that the trapeze fits exactly on the hip.
- the release of this lock is also particularly problematic, since in order to release the carabiner, a corresponding pretension must be applied in order to be able to unhook the carabiner.
- this handle can be designed as a pull strap, via which the surfer can apply a comparatively large amount of force to release it.
- a trapeze belt in which a locking piece of a trapeze lock that can be connected to a ring-shaped or eyelet-shaped retaining element is designed as a pivoted lever that is pivoted about a pivot axis.
- This pivoting lever has a suspension hook on a first end section and a locking hook at a distance therefrom, the pivot axis being formed at a distance from the suspension hook.
- the invention is based on the object of creating a trapeze belt with improved handling.
- the harness according to the invention which can be designed, for example, as a hip harness or seat harness, has traction means that are each connected to a harness fastener via an adjustment device in a length-adjustable manner.
- this trapezoidal closure has a locking piece which can be brought into clamping engagement with a retaining element.
- the adjusting devices and the traction means are designed in the manner of a ratchet arrangement.
- Ratchet arrangements of this type allow the effective length of the traction means to be set very quickly and each traction means to be set individually to the desired effective length. Due to this very simple adjustment, a relatively complex mechanism, as shown in the EP 2 835 309 A2 described can be dispensed with, since the loosening and tightening takes place solely via the adjustment device.
- the adjusting devices are only formed on the closing piece side, so that this can be brought into a hanging position and a closed position (with pretension) by adjusting the ratchet arrangements.
- the harness is particularly easy to put on because the closing piece and the end section of the hook plate remote from it are each assigned two ratchet arrangements with two approximately parallel or approximately V-shaped toothed belts which engage the closing piece or the hook plate.
- the traction means are designed as toothed belts, which are guided along a guide plate on the trapezium belt side and on which a ratchet lever is pivotably mounted, by pivoting the toothed belt being adjustable in relation to the guide plate.
- Such toothed belts are designed with a certain flexural rigidity that is optimal Introduction of the tensile force in the trapeze belt allows. This is a significant advantage over conventional belt straps, which are designed to be flexible and have no inherent rigidity, so that the applied tensile force does not have a defined direction—as in the solution according to the invention—but rather depends on the support of the hip belt on the body and is therefore not a defined one bracing position allows.
- the ratchet assembly is designed with a locking element that allows movement of the toothed belt in the direction of increasing tension and in the opposite direction, i. H. Releasably locks in the direction of relief. To relieve this blocking element is then released.
- the introduction of the tensile force is further optimized if the closing piece has at least two approximately parallel hook-shaped claws that can be hooked into correspondingly designed holding elements of the closing piece.
- this hook plate forms the retaining element.
- pockets can be formed in this retaining element, into which the hook-shaped claws immerse and can be brought into clamping engagement with retaining bolts or the like, so that the claws do not protrude outwards.
- these claws are made of metal or a fiber-reinforced plastic.
- the claws run approximately as an extension of the traction means, in particular the toothed belt.
- the striker or the retaining element can in turn be formed with a lever mechanism which allows for cocking and decocking without actuation of the ratchet assembly.
- the trapeze described below can be designed as a waist harness or seat harness and is suitable for kitesurfing, windsurfing or sailing.
- a hip harness called a harness belt—is described.
- This harness belt 1 has according to in figure 1 shown plan view a hip belt 2 with a back part 4, which has, for example, a reinforcement to distribute the forces on the back area.
- the back part 4 is adapted to the anatomy of the back.
- the back part 4 merges into two side parts 6, 8, which are made much more elastic than the back part 4 and enclose the user's torso laterally.
- front straps 10, 12 on the stomach side can be provided, which are connected by means of a Velcro fastener when the harness belt is put on.
- a front or hook plate 14 is attached, which stretches over the two front tabs 10, 12 and which a harness hook 16 is attached.
- the hook plate 14 is designed as a molded piece made of plastic that rests flat on the abdomen.
- the hook plate 14 is connected to the side part 6 on the one hand via traction means 20 and an adjustment device 22 .
- the end section of the hook plate 14 lying on the left is connected to one or more traction means 26 and a further adjustment device 28 via a trapezoidal lock 24 .
- the distance between the hook plate 14 and the side parts 6, 8 can be changed via the two adjusting devices 22, 28 by correspondingly lengthening or shortening the traction means 20, 26 in order to enable an adjustment to the waist circumference of the user.
- the traction means 20, 26 and the adjusting devices 22, 28 are designed as a ratchet arrangement 30, 32, which enables very quick and precise adjustment.
- figure 2 shows a partial representation of the trapeze belt 1 with the side part 8 which can be connected to the hook plate 14 via the traction means 26 and the adjusting device 28 as well as the trapeze lock 24 .
- the trapezoidal closure 24 has a closing piece 34 which, with two claws 36 , 38 running approximately at a parallel distance, can be inserted into a retaining element 40 which is integrated into the hook plate 14 .
- a harness line 42 is provided in addition to the indicated harness hook 16, which can be used as an alternative to the harness hook 16, for example to give the chicken loop more lateral play.
- the two claws 36, 38 - engage in two recesses 44, 46 in the retaining element 40 of the hook plate 14, in each of which a retaining bolt (see figure 4 ) is mounted, which is encompassed by the respective claw 36 or 38.
- the two claws 36, 38 are fastened to a base part 48 which dips into a stepped receptacle 50 of the hook plate 14 approximately flush.
- the pockets 44, 46 each open into this receptacle 50, so that neither the claws 36, 38 nor the base part 48 after cantilever out at the front (away from the user).
- Two toothed belts 52 , 54 designed as traction means are fastened to the base part 48 .
- the toothed belts 52, 54 are pivotably and/or adjustably mounted on the closing piece 34, so that they can adapt to the respective clamping state in the relative V position shown.
- the toothed belts 52, 54 together with ratchet levers 58, 60 each form a ratchet arrangement 30, 31.
- Each of the ratchet levers 58, 60 is pivotably connected to a guide plate 62, 64 fastened to the side part 8.
- toothing 66, 68 is formed, which likewise has a large number of teeth with a steep tooth flank and a flatter tooth flank.
- the ratchet lever 58, 60 is pivoted about the respective pivot axis 70, 72, the respective toothed belt 52, 54 is transported in the direction of the clamping engagement by the toothing engagement in the area of the steep tooth flanks, so that the distance between the respective ratchet lever 58, 60 and the closing piece 34 is shortened.
- an unlocking lever 74, 76 can be actuated in order to release the toothed engagement, so that the effective length of the respective toothed belt 52, 54 is lengthened again.
- the two toothed belts 52, 54 run approximately as an extension of the two claws 36, 38, so that a very homogeneous course of force is ensured without transverse forces resulting in twisting.
- the two ratchet levers 58, 60 are slightly bent upwards in the area of their end sections in order to ensure easy gripping. Accidental adjustment in the opening direction is only possible when the release levers 74, 76 are actuated, so that the belt tension cannot be released accidentally.
- figure 3 shows a partial view of the area of the other side part 6, which has a corresponding structure.
- a ratchet arrangement 32, 33 is also provided on this side in order to adjust the width of the harness belt 1.
- two toothed belts 78, 80 are in turn attached to the end section of the hook plate 14 remote from the trapezoidal closure 24. These can also be pivoted again approximately in the plane of the drawing via connecting screws 82, 84 or other connecting means, such as rivets or the like, on the figure 3 visible end portion of the trapezoidal plate 14 articulated.
- the effective length of the toothed belt can then in turn be adjusted via ratchet levers 84, 86 - like the ratchet assemblies 30, 31 according to figure 2 are in meshing engagement with the teeth of the toothed belts 78, 80.
- the gearing is the same as shown figure 2 described, so that further explanations are unnecessary.
- Both ratchet levers 84, 86 are each mounted in a guide plate 88, 90 attached to the side part 6 so as to be pivotable about a pivot bearing 92, 94. Release is in turn effected by actuating a release lever 96, 98.
- a ratchet arrangement 32 , 33 which is structurally somewhat different but functionally identical to that on the side part 8 is used in the area of the side part 6 .
- the distance between the two toothed belts 78, 80 corresponds approximately to that of the toothed belts 52, 54.
- figure 4 shows that in figure 2 shown side part 8 with loosened toothed belt 52, 54 and open trapezoid lock 24.
- the toothed engagement of the two toothed belts 52, 54 with the ratchet levers 58, 60 is released by actuating the release lever 74, 76, so that the toothed belts 52, 54 can be pulled out of the guide plate 62, 64.
- the base part 58 on which on the one hand the two toothed belts 52, 54 are fastened pivotably and/or adjustably.
- the two hook-shaped claws 36, 38 are arranged, which protrude towards the hook plate 14.
- the receptacle 50 is formed on the associated end section of the hook plate 14, the dimensions of which roughly correspond to those of the base part 48, so that it fits exactly into the stepped receptacle 50 can be used.
- the two pockets 44, 46 open into this receptacle 50.
- a retaining bolt 100, 102 which, when the trapezoidal closure 24 is closed, is surrounded by the hook-shaped end sections 104, 106 of the claws 36, 38, the claws 36, 38 fit exactly into the pockets 44, 46, so that twisting or tipping is not possible and the tensile force runs exactly as an extension of the hook plate 14.
- the two toothed belts 52, 54 are pushed into the respective guide plates 62, 64 (the latter not visible in Fig figure 5 ) is inserted and the tension then built up by actuating the ratchet levers 58, 60. Due to the relatively narrow tooth spacing, very precise adjustment of the desired belt tension is guaranteed.
- a trapeze belt is disclosed in which the adjustment takes place by means of a ratchet arrangement.
