Oftmals kommt es nämlich vor, dass derartige Integralhelme nach ihrer Benutzung und nach dem Absetzen von dem Träger transportiert werden und dabei unabsichtlicherweise mit dem Integralhelm an einem Drittgegenstand anstoßen, sodass an dem Integralhelm Kratzer oder sonstige zumindest optisch unschöne Beschädigungen auftreten. Wenn der Integralhelm nunmehr auch in diesem Zustand, in dem er vom Träger nicht auf dem Kopf getragen wird, mit einer erfindungsgemäßen Schutzvorrichtung versehen ist, die im Bereich der unteren Öffnung des schlauchförmigen Schals wenigstens eine Trageöffnung aufweist, kann nämlich nun die Schutzvorrichtung in einfacher Weise über den Integralhelm gestülpt werden, sodass sie nunmehr auch als Beschädigungsschutz und insbesondere als Trage- und Schutztasche für diesen dient. Dabei ist nämlich nunmehr die gesamte schlagfeste Kalotte des Schutzhelmes von der als schlauchförmigem Schal ausgebildeten Schutzvorrichtung umgeben, sodass diese bei einem Anstoßen an einen Drittgegenstand die Kalotte vor Beschädigungen schützt. Insofern wird durch eine derartige Ausgestaltung der Erfindung auch eine Multifunktionalität der erfindungsgemäßen Schutzvorrichtung begründet.According to a particularly advantageous idea of the invention, at least one carrying opening is provided in the region of the lower opening of the tubular scarf. Um dabei ein besonders angenehmes Tragen des Integralhelmes zu gewährleisten, ist es in vorteilhafter Weise vorgesehen, dass im Bereich der unteren Öffnung des schlauchförmigen Schals zwei Trageöffnungen gegenüberliegend angeordnet sind. Hierdurch ist es ermöglicht, dass die als schlauchförmiger Schal ausgebildete Schutzvorrichtung nunmehr in einfacher Weise über den Integralhelm gestülpt werden kann, wobei sie mit den an der oberen Öffnung versehenen Mitteln weiterhin mit dem Integralhelm befestigt bleibt und im oberen Bereich die Trageöffnungen zum Tragen des Integralhelmes dienen.
