Definitions
- the invention relates to a visor for attachment to a cap.
- the invention relates to the combination of a cap or a headband or a clip with such a visor.
- the present invention relates to visors that are suitable for protecting a person's face.
- visors can have fastening components with which they are attached directly to the head of their wearer.
- visors are also often attached to headgear, for example to protective helmets.
- visor that is primarily made of transparent plastic. This is intended to protect the wearer of the visor from droplet infection from other people that the wearer of the visor encounters. The other people that the wearer of the visor encounters are also protected from saliva droplets finding their way directly from the wearer of the visor to the other people.
- visors are not only intended to be used to protect against infections. Visors of this type are also used in numerous manual activities, such as forestry work, gardening and construction work.
- EN 20 2020 101562 U1 discloses a visor for attachment to a cap, the visor comprising a plate.
- the invention is based on the object of developing a visor in such a way that it can be reliably and variably connected to its wearer.
- the invention consists in a visor for fastening to a cap or a headband or a clasp by means of snap fasteners, the visor comprising as its main component a plate which has an upper edge and two side edges, a snap fastener component being provided in each of the upper corner regions of the plate where the upper edge and the side edges meet, and at least one stop component being provided at least partially below a section which connects the snap fastener components to one another.
- the snap fastener components which are directly connected to the visor are thus connected to counterparts which are directly connected to the cap or the headband or the clasp.
- the snap fasteners are arranged in the corner regions of the plate so that after the visor has been attached to the cap they are positioned essentially laterally on the wearer's head.
- the rotatability of the snap fastener components relative to their counterparts can be used to pivot the visor.
- pivoting it can thus assume a working position in front of the wearer's face, a parking position above the wearer's head and any number of intermediate positions.
- at least one stop component is provided on the plate. With this stop component, the visor rests on the peak of the cap, for example, and further pivoting of the visor downwards will not occur unintentionally.
- the stop component acts as a brake in every position. This is particularly advantageous with a headband or a clasp.
- the visor according to the invention is preferably rimless.
- the present invention is described using the example of a visor with two snap fastener components for fastening the visor to the cap.
- Several snap fastener components can also be provided in one or each of the corner areas. In this way, the positioning of the visor relative to the cap or the headband can be or the clasp, or caps of different shapes can be equipped with the same visor according to the invention.
- the panel is designed to be at least largely transparent.
- a transparent panel offers all-round visibility while also providing protection against external influences.
- the at least one stop component is a male snap-button component.
- the male snap-button component is then attached to the visor in such a way that the protruding part of the snap-button component is directed towards the wearer's head.
- the male snap-button component always remains above the cap shield, as the stop between the cap shield and the male snap fastener component prevents the visor from being lowered any further.
- the at least one stop component is at least one elongated stop strip.
- Such an elongated stop strip is attached to the inside of the visor.
- the stop strip runs horizontally, protruding inwards.
- the stop component can also act as a brake over the pivoting path. It is also possible to provide two or more parallel stop strips. In this way, the visor has several working positions, depending on which stop strip is selected. When lowering, the visor will initially come to rest on the shield of the cap with the lowest stop strip.
- the elongated stop strip is a foam strip.
- a foam strip is particularly suitable due to its high flexibility. Firstly, the flexible foam strip does not prevent the visor from bending, which is necessary in order to attach the visor to the cap or headband or clasp. Secondly, the flexible foam strip has a large contact surface, for example on the peak of the cap, so that the contact force is distributed over a large area. The flexibility of the foam strip also helps to pivot the visor further downwards than a bottom stop strip would allow, precisely in order to select a lower working position when there are several parallel stop strips.
- the elongated stop strip is a wedge-shaped stop strip.
- the stop strip is at least partially wedge-shaped.
- the stop strip(s) are then attached to the visor in such a way that when lowering in the case of a cap, the thinner part of the wedge-shaped stop strip comes into the area of the shield first.
- the stop strip can thus be pivoted over the edge of the shield, coming into contact with the shield immediately or only later.
- the contact force between the stop strip and the shield increases as it is pivoted further. From a certain point, the contact force is sufficient to prevent the visor from being inadvertently pivoted further downwards.
- stop strips that are self-adhesive are used.
- the stop strip can be wedge-shaped in one direction in general. The stop strip therefore gets thicker from bottom to top.
- the stop strip can also be partially wedge-shaped. It gets thicker from bottom to top until it reaches a maximum thickness. From then on, the stop strip always remains the same thickness. It is also possible that the stop strip, after an area in which it always remains the same thickness, then becomes thinner again towards the top.
- the stop strip therefore develops in a ramp-like manner, becoming thicker from both directions. There is a plateau between the ramps. The plateau can also be omitted.
- the stop strip can therefore be wedge-shaped, becoming thicker from both directions, with the wedge-shaped areas meeting at an edge.
- the wedge shape of the stop strip in the upper area is particularly useful for ensuring that the visor is safely parked. If the visor is folded all the way up or back, the upper area of the stop strip will come into contact with a rear area of the cap.
- the wedge-shaped design of the stop strip slows down the pivoting of the visor, and the design of the wedge-shaped stop strip prevents the visor from accidentally leaving the parking position.
- the visor is further developed in such a way that two stop components made of foam are provided, each stop component being arranged above a snap fastener component and being penetrable by the snap fastener component.
- the functional part of the snap fastener component is arranged inside the visor.
- the associated stop component is also arranged inside the visor. attached, which covers or surrounds the snap fastener component.
- a stop component made of foam is therefore provided around the snap fastener component, and the functional part of the snap fastener component can nevertheless be coupled to its counterpart on the cap.
- the stop component acts as a brake in every position. It is no longer necessary to swivel the visor further upwards in order to reach a stable parking position. This has the advantage that there is no risk of bumping into something with the folded-up visor, which is in the parking position, for example when walking through a door.
- the foam stop components can be designed with the same thickness over their entire surface. However, it can also be provided that they are again wedge-shaped in cross-section, whereby different wedge shapes can be envisaged, similar to the elongated stop strips. In particular, the stop components can become thinner towards the edge areas.
- At least one Velcro component is provided for fastening a textile component by means of a Velcro connection.
- a textile component With such a textile component, the protective effect of the visor can be extended downwards. Furthermore, the textile component can be removed from the visor and replaced by loosening the Velcro connections.
- the textile component can also be used as a cloth for cleaning the visor.
- a ventilation function can also be provided by providing at least one ventilation slot in an upper area of the visor.
- At least two visor-side band fastening devices are provided in an upper region of the visor for fastening an elastic band each.
- An elastic band which is fastened on the one hand to the visor and on the other hand to the cap, can help to lift the visor from the working position to the parking position and stabilize the visor in a parking position in which the visor faces forward, i.e. in the direction of the wearer's gaze.
- the useful forward-facing parking position can also be provided on the basis of the use of elastic bands.
- the visor-side strap fastening means are holes that penetrate the visor.
- the elastic strap is then simply pushed through a hole and fixed, for example, by adding a knot or other locking device.
- the invention further consists in a combination of a cap or a headband or a clasp and a visor according to the invention.
- the invention further relates to a set with at least one plate for a visor according to the invention, at least one stop component that can be variably attached thereto and at least two snap fastener components for attachment to a cap or a headband or a clasp, wherein the plate has an upper edge and two side edges, wherein a snap fastener component is provided in each of the upper corner areas of the plate where the upper edge and the side edges meet.
- the snap fastener components should be selected so that they can be easily attached to a cap or the headband or the clasp, i.e. without complex tools.
- the snap fastener components can, for example, each consist of a part located inside the cap or the headband or the clasp and an external part, wherein at least one of the parts penetrates the fabric of the cap or the headband or the clasp in order to be clipped together with the other part.
- the stop components provided in the set can then be individually attached to the visor, i.e. preferably glued to the visor. In this way, the visor can be individually adapted to the cap to be used.
- the set is equipped so that it contains two elastic bands.
- FIG. 1 shows a front view of a visor according to the invention.
- the visor 10 which has a plate 22 made of transparent material as an essential component, has an upper edge 24 and two side edges 26, 28.
- the edges can be shaped in many different ways. For example, any corners can be avoided, or other polygons can be chosen as the basic shape of the visor.
- the areas in which the upper edge 24 and the side edges 26, 28 meet are referred to as corner areas 30, 32 of the visor 10, although smooth transitions between the edges without an actual corner are also possible here.
- Push-button components 14, 16 are provided in the corner areas 30, 32 of the visor 10.
- two stop components 34, 36 are arranged in a horizontal line. These are arranged symmetrically to the vertical axis of symmetry of the visor below a line that connects the push-button components 14, 16.
- Figure 2 shows a top view of an upper edge of a visor according to the invention.
- the push-button components 14, 16 are shown here as female push-button components. They penetrate the plate 22 near the upper edge.
- the stop components 34, 36 are male push-button components. They are below the push-button components 14, 16, which is not visible here, but in conjunction with Figure 1 is understandable.
- FIG 3 shows a cap to which a visor according to the invention can be attached.
- the cap 12 can be of a conventional nature, as is often worn today.
- the cap 12 has a shield 38.
- push-button components 18, 20 which form the counterparts to the push-button components of the visor.
- the shield 38 serves as a counterpart to the stop components of the visor.
- Figure 4 shows a combination of cap and visor, with the visor in its working position.
- Figure 5 shows a cap and a visor, with the visor in an intermediate position.
- Figure 6 shows a cap and a visor according to the invention, wherein the visor is in a parking position.
- Figure 7 shows a cap and a visor according to the invention in a side view, with the visor in a working position.
- the visor is in its working position. It is pivoted downwards and it protects the wearer's face. A further pivoting down of the visor 10 is not possible or does not occur unintentionally, since the stop components 34, 36 rest on the shield 38 of the cap 12.
- the visor 10 can be easily swivelled upwards out of the working position by using the relative rotation of the push-button components 14, 18; 16, 20.
- the visor 10 is in an intermediate position here.
- the visor has then reached its parking position.
- the parking position can always be defined as a position in which the visor 10 remains stable, i.e. does not fall back in front of the wearer's face.
- the parking position can also be further forward or further back than it is in Figure 6 is shown.
- Figure 7 shows again in a side view the working position and in particular the support of the stop components 34, 36 on the shield 38 of the cap 12.
- the position of the visor 10 relative to the wearer's face can be achieved not only by pivoting the visor 10 relative to the cap 12. Different positions of the visor 10 can also be realized by varying the position of the cap 12 relative to the wearer's face, that is to say, for example, by putting it on with the shield 38 pointing further upwards.
- Figure 8 shows a front view of a visor according to the invention.
- Figure 9 shows a top view of an upper edge of a visor according to the invention.
- the stop component is provided by a stop strip 40.
- This stop strip 40 is preferably made of foam. The foam strip is usefully self-adhesive and is glued from the inside to the plate 22 of the visor 10.
- Figure 10 shows a cap and a visor according to the invention in a side view, with the visor located just above its working position. If the visor 10 is lowered further down, the stop strip 40 lies on the shield 38 of the cap 12, whereby the working position of the visor 10 is reached.
- FIG 11 shows a front view of a visor according to the invention.
- This visor 10 has two stop strips 40, 41, so that the visor 10 has two working positions. If the visor 10 is lowered, the stop strip 41 first rests on the shield of the cap. In particular, with a flexible stop strip 41, the visor can be moved further down with a little effort, so that the stop strip 40 then rests on the shield of the cap, whereby the second working position is assumed.
- Figure 12 shows a front view of a visor according to the invention.
- Figure 13 shows a plan view of an upper edge of a visor according to the invention.
- two stop strips 42, 44 are attached to the plate 22 of the visor 10, preferably glued, whereby here too the stop strips 42, 44 usefully have a self-adhesive side.
- the stop strips 42, 44 are wedge-shaped. The thinner end of the wedge is the lower end of the stop strip 42, 44.
- Figure 14 shows a cap and a visor according to the invention, with the visor in a parking position. Here the attachment of the wedge-shaped stop strips can be seen. The stop strips are only partially wedge-shaped here.
- Figure 15 shows a combination of cap and visor, with the visor in a working position.
- the visor 10 is in one of its working positions, with a very thick area of the wedge-shaped stop strip 42, 44 being connected to the shield 38 of the cap 12. Even when the visor is pivoted further upwards, Visor 10 would already hold visor 10 securely in the working position then assumed.
- FIG 16 shows a front view of a visor according to the invention.
- a textile component 52 is attached to the plate 22 of the visor 10 from the inside via Velcro connections 46, 48, 50.
- the textile component 52 extends the visor 10 downwards, thereby providing increased protection. Furthermore, the textile component 52 can be replaced. Furthermore, the textile component 52 can be used to clean the visor 10.
- the present embodiment of the visor 10 with the textile component 52 is shown in connection with the embodiment of the visor 10 in which wedge-shaped stop strips 42, 44 are used.
- the textile component 52 attached to the visor 10 via Velcro connections 46, 48, 50 can, however, also be a supplement to all other embodiments of visors 10 that are described here.
- the textile component can also be coupled to the visor in another way. It can be clipped, clamped, glued or magnetically connected to the visor.
- FIG 17 shows a front view of a visor according to the invention.
- Two ventilation slots 54, 56 are provided in the vicinity of the upper edge 24 of the visor 10. This makes working with the visor 10 more pleasant, since accumulated warm and moist air can escape upwards.
- Figure 18 shows a front view of a visor according to the invention.
- Figure 19 shows a combination of cap and visor.
- a hump 58 is arranged in the middle of the upper edge 24 of the visor 10. This offers the possibility of bringing the visor into a comparatively low working position, whereby in this position protection is nevertheless provided in a central area by the visor 10.
- ventilation paths 60, 62 can be provided to the left and right of the hump 58 in order to allow moist and warm air to escape upwards.
- Figure 20 shows various forms of a stop strip in side view.
- the stop strips are each shown in side view, i.e. they are attached to the inside of the visor with their underside, namely preferably glued.
- the cuboid stop strip 40 according to Figure 20a is preferably used in the embodiments according to the Figures 9 to 11 and 17
- the wedge-shaped or partially wedge-shaped stop strips 42 according to Figure 20b, Figure 20c and Figure 20d are preferably used in conjunction with the embodiments according to the Figures 12 to 16 and the Figures 18 and 19 for use.
- Figure 21 shows a combination of cap 12 and visor 10, with the visor 10 in a working position.
- Figure 22 shows a combination of cap 12 and visor 10, with the visor 10 in an intermediate position.
- Figure 23 shows a combination of cap 12 and visor 10, with the visor in a parking position.
- the visor 10 or the combination of visor 10 and cap 12 is similar in many respects to the embodiments according to the Figures 12 to 15 In particular, wedge-shaped stop strips are provided on the visor 10, whereby only the left wedge-shaped stop strip 44 is visible here.
- the visor 10 is equipped in the same or comparable way.
- the visor 10 shown here also has a visor-side fastening device 64.
- a head-side fastening device 68 is also provided on the cap 12.
- An elastic band 66 for example a rubber band, is attached to these fastening devices 64, 68.
- the rubber band 66 runs on the outside of the visor 10 and on the outside of the cap 12.
- the fastening devices 64, 68 are preferably holes in the visor 10 and cap 12, whereby the elastic band 66 is pushed through the holes 64, 68 from the outside in order to then lock it from the inside. This locking can be done, for example, simply by knotting the elastic band 66 at its ends.
- the fastening devices In the working position according to Figure 21 the fastening devices have a maximum or almost maximum distance, so that the elastic band 66 is at a maximum or almost maximum tension.
- the elastic band 66 runs essentially parallel to the edge of the cap 12. It stabilizes the working position of the visor 10.
- the elastic band helps to lift the visor 10.
- the elastic band 66 helps to hold the visor 10 in its parking position, whereby the visor 10 is facing forwards, namely through a balance of forces between the weight of the visor 10 and the elastic force of the band 66.
- the construction is also symmetrical with regard to these features, i.e. on the right side of the combination of cap 12 and visor 10, an elastic band is also fixed in corresponding fastening devices.
- Figure 24 shows a front view of a visor 10 according to the invention.
- the stop strips are not visible here because they are covered by stickers 78, 80 which are glued to the outside of the visor 10.
- the visor-side fastening devices 64, 65 can be seen here.
- On each side of the visor three visor-side fastening devices 64, 65 are provided, each of which penetrates the visor 10 as holes.
- a specific one of the visor-side fastening devices 64, 65 can be selected on each side for fastening the elastic band.
- the visor-side fastening devices 64, 65 can also be combined.
- the elastic band can be led through an inner visor-side fastening device 64 from the outside to the inside and led out again through a visor-side fastening device further out or through a visor-side fastening device 64 further down or further up. This can change the tension of the elastic band.
- Figure 25 shows an end region of an elastic band 66 with latch 72, wherein the latch 72 is in a first position.
- Figure 26 shows an end region of an elastic band 66 with a latch 72, with the latch 72 in a second position.
- a latch 72 is provided at the end of the elastic band 66 shown here. This makes it unnecessary to prevent the elastic band 66 from leaving the hole in the visor or cap by tying it in a knot.
- the band 66 together with the latch 72 can be easily passed through a hole. In the transverse position of the latch 72, the band 66 is prevented from slipping out of the hole.
- Figure 27 shows an elastic band 66 with a latch 72 as it is inserted into a hole in a cap 12.
- the head-side fastening device 68 is implemented by means of a hollow rivet 70.
- the latch 72 is essentially an extension of the elastic band 66, so that the elastic band 66 together with the latch 72 can be easily guided through the hollow rivet 70 in the cap 12.
- Figure 28 shows an elastic band 66 with a latch in the fixed state.
- the latch 72 is perpendicular to the elastic band 66.
- the band 66 can therefore no longer slip out of the hole in the cap 12.
- Figure 29 shows a cap 12 and a visor 10 according to the invention, wherein the visor is in a working position.
- Figure 30 shows a cap 12 and a visor 10 according to the invention, wherein the visor is in an intermediate position.
- Figure 31 shows a combination of cap 12 and visor 10, with the visor in a parking position.
- the visor 10 according to the invention it is equipped with two stop components 74 made of foam, each stop component being arranged at the location of one of the snap fastener components 14.
- the snap fastener component 14 and the associated stop component 74 can be seen, the construction on the other side of the visor being the same or comparable.
- the stop components 74 made of foam are glued to the inside of the visor 10.
- the stop component 74 enables the functional part of the snap fastener component 14 to be coupled to the counterpart on the cap 12.
- the stop component 74 gives the visor 10 a stop in each of the positions shown, i.e. the working position according to Figure 29 , the intermediate position according to Figure 30 and the parking position according to Figure 31 , Stop.
- the stop components 74 serve as "brakes" which prevent the visor 10 from pivoting unintentionally relative to the cap 12.
- FIG 32 shows a front view of a visor according to the invention.
- stickers 78, 80 can be seen here, which cover the foam stop components attached to the other side of the visor 10.
- the stickers 78, 80 essentially have the shape of the underlying foam stop components. They essentially follow the contours of the visor, with an upper side initially running essentially straight and then forming a curve downwards. This curve continues until the inner, essentially straight edge of the stickers 78 or the foam stop components is reached.
- An upper edge and an adjoining inner edge of the stop component are straight. For example, they can be essentially perpendicular to each other.
- the corner that connects the upper edge and the inner edge of the stop component is rounded.
- the stop component is circular. It is then preferably penetrated by the push-button component in its center.
- foam which is often relatively soft, harder plastics can also be used, or plastics that, due to their elasticity, always return to their basic shape even after prolonged or frequent squeezing.
- PU foams, PVC foams, latex foams, silicone foams, hard rubber or combinations of these materials can be used.
- FIG 33 shows a perspective view of a headband with a visor partially attached to it.

Description
The invention relates to a visor for attachment to a cap.
Furthermore, the invention relates to the combination of a cap or a headband or a clip with such a visor.
The present invention relates to visors that are suitable for protecting a person's face. Such visors can have fastening components with which they are attached directly to the head of their wearer. However, visors are also often attached to headgear, for example to protective helmets.
In this case, it is a visor that is primarily made of transparent plastic. This is intended to protect the wearer of the visor from droplet infection from other people that the wearer of the visor encounters. The other people that the wearer of the visor encounters are also protected from saliva droplets finding their way directly from the wearer of the visor to the other people.
These tasks are often performed by face masks nowadays. However, wearing such face masks is often tedious and strenuous. It gets warm under such face masks and the wearer of the face mask has to increase their breathing rate over time because they transport a dead volume of oxygen-poor air with each breath.
However, such visors are not only intended to be used to protect against infections. Visors of this type are also used in numerous manual activities, such as forestry work, gardening and construction work.
The invention is based on the object of developing a visor in such a way that it can be reliably and variably connected to its wearer.
This task is solved with the features of the independent claim.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
The invention consists in a visor for fastening to a cap or a headband or a clasp by means of snap fasteners, the visor comprising as its main component a plate which has an upper edge and two side edges, a snap fastener component being provided in each of the upper corner regions of the plate where the upper edge and the side edges meet, and at least one stop component being provided at least partially below a section which connects the snap fastener components to one another. The snap fastener components which are directly connected to the visor are thus connected to counterparts which are directly connected to the cap or the headband or the clasp. The snap fasteners are arranged in the corner regions of the plate so that after the visor has been attached to the cap they are positioned essentially laterally on the wearer's head. Consequently, the rotatability of the snap fastener components relative to their counterparts can be used to pivot the visor. By pivoting it can thus assume a working position in front of the wearer's face, a parking position above the wearer's head and any number of intermediate positions. To ensure that the visor, when in its working position, does not pivot further downwards so that an upper part of the wearer's face would be exposed, at least one stop component is provided on the plate. With this stop component, the visor rests on the peak of the cap, for example, and further pivoting of the visor downwards will not occur unintentionally. The stop component acts as a brake in every position. This is particularly advantageous with a headband or a clasp. The visor according to the invention is preferably rimless.
The present invention is described using the example of a visor with two snap fastener components for fastening the visor to the cap. Several snap fastener components can also be provided in one or each of the corner areas. In this way, the positioning of the visor relative to the cap or the headband can be or the clasp, or caps of different shapes can be equipped with the same visor according to the invention.
Usefully, the panel is designed to be at least largely transparent. A transparent panel offers all-round visibility while also providing protection against external influences.
Furthermore, it is particularly preferred that the at least one stop component is a male snap-button component. The male snap-button component is then attached to the visor in such a way that the protruding part of the snap-button component is directed towards the wearer's head. The male snap-button component always remains above the cap shield, as the stop between the cap shield and the male snap fastener component prevents the visor from being lowered any further.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the at least one stop component is at least one elongated stop strip. Such an elongated stop strip is attached to the inside of the visor. For example, the stop strip runs horizontally, protruding inwards. When the visor is lowered to its working position, the stop strip rests on the shield of the cap, for example, which prevents the visor from being lowered any further. The stop component can also act as a brake over the pivoting path. It is also possible to provide two or more parallel stop strips. In this way, the visor has several working positions, depending on which stop strip is selected. When lowering, the visor will initially come to rest on the shield of the cap with the lowest stop strip. If the wearer of the visor has not lowered the shield far enough at this moment, he can lower the visor further with a little effort, so that the additional stop strip above it comes to rest on the shield. If there are more than two stop strips, further working positions can be selected in a similar way.
It is useful for the elongated stop strip to be a foam strip. A foam strip is particularly suitable due to its high flexibility.
According to a further embodiment of the present invention, the elongated stop strip is a wedge-shaped stop strip. In particular, the stop strip is at least partially wedge-shaped. The stop strip(s) are then attached to the visor in such a way that when lowering in the case of a cap, the thinner part of the wedge-shaped stop strip comes into the area of the shield first. The stop strip can thus be pivoted over the edge of the shield, coming into contact with the shield immediately or only later. In any case, the contact force between the stop strip and the shield increases as it is pivoted further. From a certain point, the contact force is sufficient to prevent the visor from being inadvertently pivoted further downwards. From this point, there is subsequently a continuous infinite number of working positions, with the contact force between the stop strip and the shield increasing as it is lowered further. In all of the solutions with stop strips mentioned here, it is useful that these are glued to the visor. Preferably, stop strips that are self-adhesive are used. There are several variants for the wedge shape of the stop strip. Firstly, the stop strip can be wedge-shaped in one direction in general. The stop strip therefore gets thicker from bottom to top. The stop strip can also be partially wedge-shaped. It gets thicker from bottom to top until it reaches a maximum thickness. From then on, the stop strip always remains the same thickness. It is also possible that the stop strip, after an area in which it always remains the same thickness, then becomes thinner again towards the top. The stop strip therefore develops in a ramp-like manner, becoming thicker from both directions. There is a plateau between the ramps. The plateau can also be omitted. The stop strip can therefore be wedge-shaped, becoming thicker from both directions, with the wedge-shaped areas meeting at an edge. The wedge shape of the stop strip in the upper area is particularly useful for ensuring that the visor is safely parked. If the visor is folded all the way up or back, the upper area of the stop strip will come into contact with a rear area of the cap. The wedge-shaped design of the stop strip slows down the pivoting of the visor, and the design of the wedge-shaped stop strip prevents the visor from accidentally leaving the parking position.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the visor is further developed in such a way that two stop components made of foam are provided, each stop component being arranged above a snap fastener component and being penetrable by the snap fastener component. The functional part of the snap fastener component is arranged inside the visor. The associated stop component is also arranged inside the visor. attached, which covers or surrounds the snap fastener component. A stop component made of foam is therefore provided around the snap fastener component, and the functional part of the snap fastener component can nevertheless be coupled to its counterpart on the cap. This arrangement of the stop components has the advantage that a stable parking position of the visor is already achieved when the visor is facing forward, i.e. in the direction the wearer is looking. The stop component acts as a brake in every position. It is no longer necessary to swivel the visor further upwards in order to reach a stable parking position. This has the advantage that there is no risk of bumping into something with the folded-up visor, which is in the parking position, for example when walking through a door. The foam stop components can be designed with the same thickness over their entire surface. However, it can also be provided that they are again wedge-shaped in cross-section, whereby different wedge shapes can be envisaged, similar to the elongated stop strips. In particular, the stop components can become thinner towards the edge areas.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, at least one Velcro component is provided for fastening a textile component by means of a Velcro connection. With such a textile component, the protective effect of the visor can be extended downwards. Furthermore, the textile component can be removed from the visor and replaced by loosening the Velcro connections. The textile component can also be used as a cloth for cleaning the visor.
A ventilation function can also be provided by providing at least one ventilation slot in an upper area of the visor.
According to another embodiment of the visor according to the invention, at least two visor-side band fastening devices are provided in an upper region of the visor for fastening an elastic band each. An elastic band, which is fastened on the one hand to the visor and on the other hand to the cap, can help to lift the visor from the working position to the parking position and stabilize the visor in a parking position in which the visor faces forward, i.e. in the direction of the wearer's gaze. Thus, the useful forward-facing parking position can also be provided on the basis of the use of elastic bands.
According to a useful embodiment, the visor-side strap fastening means are holes that penetrate the visor. The elastic strap is then simply pushed through a hole and fixed, for example, by adding a knot or other locking device.
The invention further consists in a combination of a cap or a headband or a clasp and a visor according to the invention.
The invention further relates to a set with at least one plate for a visor according to the invention, at least one stop component that can be variably attached thereto and at least two snap fastener components for attachment to a cap or a headband or a clasp, wherein the plate has an upper edge and two side edges, wherein a snap fastener component is provided in each of the upper corner areas of the plate where the upper edge and the side edges meet. The snap fastener components should be selected so that they can be easily attached to a cap or the headband or the clasp, i.e. without complex tools. The snap fastener components can, for example, each consist of a part located inside the cap or the headband or the clasp and an external part, wherein at least one of the parts penetrates the fabric of the cap or the headband or the clasp in order to be clipped together with the other part. The stop components provided in the set can then be individually attached to the visor, i.e. preferably glued to the visor. In this way, the visor can be individually adapted to the cap to be used.
In the version with elastic bands, the set is equipped so that it contains two elastic bands.

In the following description of the drawings, identical reference symbols refer to identical or comparable components.
In the embodiments of the present invention shown, different types of caps are shown, namely caps with a closed head section and caps with an open head section. The various visors can be combined as desired with all of the cap variants shown. All features shown in connection with headbands can also be implemented in connection with caps. The same applies to all features shown in connection with caps, in reverse, unless it is crucial that the cap has a visor. In addition to caps and headbands, it is also within the scope of the invention to use clips, such as those normally used for hairstyles. A clip is worn so that it is closed at the front and open at the back. A visor can be attached to a clip in the same way as to a headband.
