Definitions
- the invention relates to a hand fire extinguisher according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a fire extinguisher is described according to the generic term, which can be used in its holding position on a holding wall in the interior of a motor vehicle as well as as a hand-held fire extinguisher for extinguishing after being removed from its holding position.
- the gripping element for clamping on the holding wall is movably guided on this and interacts in a form-fitting manner with the carrier of the outlet valve on the fitting head of the hand-held fire extinguisher.
- the gripping element is constantly held in its gripping position by spring force.
- the hand fire extinguisher can be moved into its holding position by a guide device with a predetermined installation movement.
- the through DE102010 047 024 B4 Known hand fire extinguisher is strapped to a holding back using a holding strap, which is closed and tensioned by a lock.
- the disadvantage of the strap is that it is either too tight or too loose. It can then either not be closed or can only be closed with difficulty and can be released from the dead position of the lock, or the hand fire extinguisher is not secure and rattles when it is installed in a vehicle.
- the object of the invention is to provide fastening devices for a hand-held fire extinguisher, particularly in a motor vehicle, which are easy to operate.
- the hand-held fire extinguisher should be easy to attach with just one hand, even in hard-to-reach places, where it doesn't get in the way and there's no risk of injury to passengers.
- the hand-held fire extinguisher should be easy to remove, even from a hard-to-reach place, with just one hand.
- the footwell of the driver/passengers and the space under the seats, especially the front seats, are particularly important for accommodation.
- the hand-held fire extinguisher has a cylindrical container for the extinguishing agent with a circular or oval/elliptical cross-section.
- the fitting head which carries the container closure and the outlet valve, sits on the container.
- the fitting head has There is a handle on the side with which the handgun can be grasped and held during operation.
- the fitting head also has the valve lever for opening and closing the outlet valve.
- the releasable holding device in the known hand fire extinguisher is the holding strap, which is closed and opened as a handle by the lock.
- a retaining wall is provided in the interior of a motor vehicle to secure the hand-held fire extinguisher in its holding position. The difficulties of operating this handle are avoided by pairing a positive snap latch according to the invention.
- the movably guided gripping element and the recess of this snap latch are distributed on the hand fire extinguisher or holding wall.
- the gripping element and ASP work together without manual operation in the sense of attaching the hand-held fire extinguisher and engage with one another simply by moving the hand-held fire extinguisher to its predetermined location in the intended installation direction and the intended orientation and rotational position with respect to its cylinder longitudinal axis.
- guide devices can preferably also be provided, through which the installation movement of the hand-held fire extinguisher is specified and the hand-held fire extinguisher can be moved into its holding position.
- the installation movement therefore takes place in a defined installation level.
- the hand fire extinguisher can be moved parallel to its longitudinal axis or perpendicular to its longitudinal axis.
- the snap latch is located in the area of the container bottom or the top of the fitting head.
- the special feature is that the fire extinguisher and the holding wall are equipped with 2 mounting pairs, both of which allow the hand-held fire extinguisher to be attached without the help of one hand.
- One of the fastening pairs is assigned to the outlet end of the fire extinguisher, in particular the fitting head, and the other is assigned to the floor.
- the hand fire extinguisher can be moved into its holding position parallel to the longitudinal axis with an installation movement perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, there are 2 snap traps in the area of the container base and the fitting head.
- the hand fire extinguisher can be moved into its holding position with an installation movement perpendicular to the longitudinal axis with a parallel orientation to the longitudinal axis, there are 2 snap traps each in the area of the container base and the fitting head.
- the installation movement perpendicular to the longitudinal axis is preferably a pivoting movement in the defined installation plane.
- the swivel joint connection is preferably designed according to claim 3. It is preferably located at the end of the hand fire extinguisher opposite the handle and is designed as a pairing of pins and engagement eyelets.
- the protruding end of the pin is aligned against the installation direction and the engagement eyelet is open in the installation direction.
- the pin is preferably axially parallel and aligned in the installation plane and is free in such a way that the engagement eyelet can be slipped over the projecting end of the pin and then still allows a pivoting movement in the installation plane.
- a spreading device is provided. According to the invention, this should open the snap latch purely passively, i.e. without additional manual operation, simply by bringing the hand-held fire extinguisher into the holding position during the installation movement. There the spreading device goes out of effect, so that the snap latch snaps shut and clamps the hand fire extinguisher in its holding position, preferably in a form-fitting manner - but at least well within the self-locking area.
- the spreading device is assigned to the recess and interacts with the gripping element during the relative movement to lift it out of its gripping position, with the gripping element being lifted out of its gripping position against the acting spring force.
- the gripping element is released again to move into the gripping position when the hand fire extinguisher has reached its holding position and the relative movement has ended.
- one handle is sufficient to release the hand-held fire extinguisher from its holding position.
- This handle is a hand-operated push-out device which interacts with the gripping element in the sense that the gripping element can be displaced out of the gripping position against its spring force and releases the recess.
- 2 push-out devices are provided, which are mechanically connected by a common handle in the sense of synchronous release of the two snap latches.
- the snap latch is in the area of the fitting head of the hand fire extinguisher and the handle for releasing the holding device is attached to the fitting head, while the swivel joint connection is attached in the area of the base of the hand fire extinguisher.
- axially parallel guide pairs in the form of groove/bead connections or tongue/groove connections are preferably attached in the area of the base of the hand-held fire extinguisher to secure the container against rotation and to guide the hand-held fire extinguisher when it is inserted into the swivel joint connection.
- part of the swivel joint connection - insertion pin or engagement eyelet - can be attached to a support ring - referred to as jacket 16 in this application - which can be pushed over the bottom onto the lower end of the cylinder jacket of the container.
- the hand fire extinguisher consists of the container 1 and the fitting head 2.
- the container is used to hold the liquid or powdered extinguishing agent.
- the fitting head 2 essentially contains the pressure-tight screw connection of the container 1, the outlet valve, and a valve lever for operating the hand-held fire extinguisher. Only the handle 3 for carrying the hand-held fire extinguisher and the outlet nozzle 4, which serves to outlet the extinguishing agent in the event of a fire and which appears to the outside as a circular-cylindrical projection, are visible in the figures.
- the hand fire extinguisher should be mounted in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle.
- the retaining wall 5 can be seen in the figures. This can be a wall inside the motor vehicle, which serves to delimit the interior or, for example, to build a seat, for example a sheet metal plate under one of the front seats, in particular the driver's seat.
- the retaining wall 5 can also be a separate component that is screwed onto a wall of the motor vehicle interior or fastened there in some other way. This has the advantage that the retaining wall can be provided with additional functional parts for holding and attaching the hand fire extinguisher, as shown below Figures 2A, 2B , 3A is described.
- a snap latch 6 consisting of a gripping element 6.1 and a recess 6.2, is used to attach the hand fire extinguisher to the retaining wall 5.
- a spreading device 8 and a push-out device 9 are used to actuate the snap latch 6.
- the gripping element 6.1 of the snap latch 6 is a pivoting lever, which is pivotally mounted in a joint 10 on the retaining wall 5 and in its lower defined position - in the Figures 1A, 1C visible - is held and fixed by a spring 11. This position is referred to as the gripping position 13.
- FIG 1 Only the fitting head 2 of the hand fire extinguisher is shown and this is only partially shown. It's missing in the Figure 1 also the guide device, through which the hand fire extinguisher is guided into its holding position on a defined installation path with the defined installation movement. This guide device is described using the other figures.
- the spreading device 8 consists of a bevel 8.1 and a bevel 8.2, on the one hand at the top - in the installation movement - at the front of the fitting head 2 of the hand fire extinguisher and on the other hand - against the installation movement - at the free lower end of the pivoting lever, which serves as a gripping element 6.1.
- Figure 1C shows that the gripping element has now fallen into the recess 6.2 and thereby the hand fire extinguisher in its in Figure 1C Holds the holding position shown.
- the snap latch 6 is released using Figure 1D the image sequence is described.
- the push-out device 9 comes into operation here. It consists of the sliding block 8.1 and the sliding block 9.2.
- the sliding block is attached to the sliding element 6.1 and is attached to the sliding element here as a laterally projecting pin.
- the sliding block lies just above the recess 6.2.
- the link slide 9.1 is guided straight in the direction of the joint 10 of the sliding element 6.1 and is movable against the force of the spring 7 in the sense that its link flank 9.3 at the front end of the link slide engages under the link block 9.2 and, when pushed further, the Kullssenstein and thus the gripping element 6.1 in a pivoting movement against the force of the spring 11.
- the gripping element is lifted out of the recess 6.2, so that the hand fire extinguisher can be taken out of its holding position again in the direction of arrow 12.2.
- the link slide is guided straight on the top of the fitting head, so that the spring 7 also falls on the fitting head and thereby presses the handle 9.4 of the link slide 9.1 against a stop 9.6, which is attached to the fitting head.
- the operator who reaches into the handle 3 can also use his thumb to reach behind the handle 9.4 of the link slide 9.1 and move it in the direction of arrow 9.5 in the sense of releasing the gripping element 6.1.
- the hand fire extinguisher can also have such a snap latch at its lower end, i.e. in the area of the floor, for fixing it in its holding position.
- the hand fire extinguisher is shifted parallel to itself with respect to its longitudinal axis 14 and guided in such a way that both snap traps occur simultaneously.
- the exemplary embodiment according to the image sequence of Figures 2A, 2B On the other hand, it carries out a pivoting installation movement in a defined guide level.
- the snap latch is designed as described above.
- the hand fire extinguisher has a swivel joint connection 15 in the area of its base.
- This swivel joint connection 15 consists of a pin 15.1 and an inlet eyelet 15.2, which are attached to the holding wall 5 on the one hand and to the container 1 on the other.
- a jacket 16 is used to attach the pin or the inlet eyelet to the container 1, which is placed over the bottom of the container and then encloses the container and part of the cylindrical jacket without slipping.
- the inlet eyelet is attached to this jacket 16 as an axially parallel hole, which is placed over the pin to install the hand fire extinguisher on the retaining wall 6.
- FIG. 2A This sent - like Figure 2A shows - in an inclined position of the hand fire extinguisher relative to its holding position, but the hand fire extinguisher is brought down by a guide wall 5.1 formed on the holding wall 5.
- the guide wall 5.1 is aligned parallel to the intended installation movement in such a way that the recess 6.2 of the snap latch 6 comes into the effective range of the gripping element 6.1 as a result of a pivoting movement of the hand fire extinguisher in the direction of arrow 12.1 around the pivot joint connection, as shown in Figure 2B is shown.
- the Figure 3A also shows a hand fire extinguisher that reaches its holding position through a pivoting movement.
- the swivel joint connection is designed for this - as described above.
- the special feature here is the design of the snap latch 6 and the expansion element 8, which are shown in detail in the Figures 3B and 3C are shown. They are there Figures 3B and 3C Views in the direction of the arrow with the hand fire extinguisher removed.
- the gripping element of the snap latch here consists of two blades 6.4, 6.5 that are movable relative to one another. These are attached to a support lever 6.6 and 6.7 that is bent at right angles. Each of the support levers can be pivoted about a common joint 6.8.
- the support levers are provided by spring 11 loaded so that the leaves 6.4 and 6.7 in their rest position, ie gripping position, push against each other and thereby form a circular catch opening 6.10.
- the spreading tip 8.3 of the spreading device 8 is formed here as a conical mandrel, the tip of which fits into the catching opening 6.10 and pushes the leaves apart when the mandrel is pushed further into the catching opening 6.10.
- the blades can also overlap like scissors in their spring-loaded holding position and thereby leave the catch opening 6.10 free as an expansion opening. This depends on their pivot bearing in the joint 6.8.
- the outlet nozzle 4 preferably acts as a mandrel, which for this purpose is designed as a cantilevered holding pin, has the conical expansion tip 8.3 at its free mouth end and cooperates with the catch opening 6.10 of the snap latch in that the expansion tip has a constriction in the form of an annular groove 8.4 as a recess radial flanks follows.
- the diameter of this annular groove corresponds to the diameter of the catch opening 6.10 and the width of the annular groove corresponds to the thickness of the blades 6.4, 6.5. This is over Fig.3A visible.
- Fig.3A shows:
- the holding wall 5 has a projection 5.2, which projects beyond the holding position of the hand fire extinguisher.
- the support levers 6.6, 6.7 are mounted on this projection in the joint 6.8 parallel to the top of the fitting head 2.
- the leaves which are bent at 90°, point with their catch opening 6.10 in the direction of the spreading tip 8.3, which approaches in the direction of the arrow during the pivoting movement.
- the leaves are spread apart against the force of the spring 11. And they snap back into their catching position under the force of the spring when the annular groove 6.3 of the outlet nozzle reaches the area of the blades.
- the gate slide 9.1 is used to open the snap latch. This is slidably guided on the projection 5.2. With a triangular recess 9.6, it engages over the ends of the targ levers 6.4, 6.5, which protrude from the joint 6.8 towards the end of the projection 5.2. When the leaves are in their catching position, the ends of the support levers move apart and as a result the ends of the support levers slide off the flanks of the triangular recess 9.6.
- the spring 11 acts on the sliding block via the ends of the support levers and the flanks of the triangular recess and pushes the sliding block 9.1 towards the end of the projection. As a result, the link slide 9.1 comes within the reach of an operator who engages in the handle 3.
- the swivel joint connection accommodates the hand fire extinguisher in the swivel plane specified by the snap latch without impermissible play and guides the swivel movement within the tolerance specified by the snap latch so securely that the gripping element and the recess come into effective connection in the holding position of the hand fire extinguisher.
- both the pairing of the snap latch (6) and the pairing of the swivel joint connection (15) can be distributed on the hand fire extinguisher on the one hand and a retaining wall (5) of the vehicle on the other hand. It is also possible to interpose a retaining back that is releasably attached to the retaining wall (5) of the vehicle.
