Description

The present invention relates to an improved device forming a jealousy.

One wishes as much as possible to equip a building located in a hot region, particularly tropical, natural ventilation means ensuring satisfactory thermal comfort, this without having to resort to expensive and energy-consuming air conditioning means.

For this purpose, it has already been proposed in the state of the art to equip a window building opening of a device forming a blind.

A jealousy device usually comprises a plurality of pivoting flaps each hinged about an axis. The different pivoting axes of the different flaps are substantially parallel to each other.

The pivot axis of each flap is materialized by a pair of first and second journals, said support pins, integral in rotation of the flap. At least one support spigot is provided with coupling means with means for rotating said support spindle operated, for example, by a lever handle.

To allow daylight access to the interior of the building, the shutters of the jalousie device are generally transparent or translucent.

The first and second support journals are journalled in respective first and second support bearings in opposing first and second dormant pillars. Usually, the shutters can be operated by rotating them approximately 90 degrees between a closed position of the window and a maximum ventilation position allowing air to flow through the window.

A jealousy device of the type mentioned above allows for effective natural ventilation while allowing to stop the rain and close the window to avoid unwanted intrusions of animals or people inside the building.

However, a jalousie device of the aforementioned type has some disadvantages.

Indeed, certain regulations require the protection of a window opening from the sun's rays, in order to ensure a better thermal regulation of the interior of the building. This is achieved in the state of the art by adding additional equipment above the window opening, forming a cap, protecting this window from the sun. This type of equipment has the disadvantage of creating a protrusion on the facade of the building which is not always aesthetic.

Moreover, since the shutters of a device forming a louver are generally transparent, they do not make it possible to provide a shading function preventing the passage of light through the window.

The documents GB2252349A and JPS52100735A describe a jealousy device comprising two pivoting flaps.

The invention aims to provide a device forming a blind that can achieve, with simple means and integrated in this device, sun protection and occultation functions.

A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un dispositif formant jalousie selon la revendication 1.For this purpose, the invention relates to a device forming a blind according to claim 1.

The jealousy device according to the invention being equipped with at least first and second flaps pivoting about a common axis, one of the two flaps may be opaque to ensure both the sun protection functions and occultation, this without uncomfortably increasing the size of the device forming a blind.

In addition, the jealousy device according to the invention is equipped with a first connecting pin, secured to the first flap, cooperating with a second connecting bearing, secured to the second flap and a first connecting bearing, integral with the first flap. , cooperating with a second connecting pin secured to the second flap. These first and second connecting journals and these first and second connecting bearings form hinge means which are asymmetrical, in the sense that at a first end of the flaps, the journal is carried by the first flap and the bearing is carried by the second component, while at the second end of the flaps, the journal is carried by the second component while the bearing is carried by the first component.

This dissymmetry makes it possible to obtain a simplified form of the flaps and joints, as well as means of articulation of the flaps between them that are less bulky.

On a représenté sur la figure 1 un dispositif formant jalousie, selon l'invention, désigné par la référence générale 10.We have shown on the figure 1 a jealousy device according to the invention, designated by the general reference 10.

This device 10 comprises first 12 and second 14 opposite amounts forming a support. The uprights 12, 14 form, for example, two opposite sides of a frame forming a frame intended to be placed in a window opening. These amounts 12, 14 can be made of a conventional material, for example metal, especially aluminum.

On the figure 1 two pairs of first 16 and second 18 flaps are shown. The flaps 16, 18 of the same pair pivot about a common axis X between an overlap position of the two flaps 16, 18 and an angular spacing position of the flaps 16, 18 around the common axis X. preferably, the relative angular displacement around the X axis between the first 16 and second 18 flaps is between 0 and 90 degrees.

Of course, the jalousie device 10 may comprise more than two pairs of flaps 16, 18 or only a pair of flaps 16, 18.

The pairs of flaps 16, 18 are substantially identical, so that in what follows, we will describe only one pair of flaps 16,18.

Referring to figures 2 , 3 and 6 we see that the first flap 16 comprises a first transparent or translucent plate 20, for example glass, and a profile 22, for example metal. The first plate 20 is mounted in a groove 24 of the profile 22, visible in more detail on the figure 4 for example by pinching effect. Where appropriate a conventional elastic seal is interposed between the first plate 20 and the groove 24 to prevent damage to the plate 20. This profile 22 is for example polymer or metal, for example aluminum.

The first flap 16 is at least largely transparent or translucent. Indeed, the profile 22 is opaque but the plate 20, which constitutes the major part of the first flap 16, allows the passage of light through the first flap 16.

The second flap 18 comprises a second plate 26 opaque, for example wood, polymer or metal. The material and the thickness of the second plate 26 are chosen so that it is sufficiently rigid during the operation of the second flap 18, in particular to avoid unwanted twisting of the second plate 26. The second flap 18 also comprises two separate members 28, 30 each forming a console, for example metal or polymer. These separate members consoles 28, 30 are interconnected by the plate 26 of the second flap 18. The second flap 18 is therefore in its entirety opaque.

It will be noted that the first 20 and second 26 plates each have a generally rectangular general shape and dimensions adapted so that the second flap 18 can cover, preferably at least in large part, the first flap 16.

The common axis X is materialized by first 32 and second 34 pins, said support pins, fixed in rotation respectively of the first 16 and second 18 flaps. Each of the first 32 and second 34 support journals is integral with means 36, 38 for coupling with corresponding rotational drive means and maneuvering. The coupling means 36, 38 are preferably of the type of cooperation of complementary shapes and comprise, for example, polygonal contours intended to cooperate with complementary contours of rotating drive elements.

It will be noted that the operation of all the first flaps 16 is done using first conventional rotational drive and maneuver means (not shown) comprising for example a linkage, a lever handle and / or a winch . Similarly, the operation of the set of second flaps 18 is done using second conventional drive and maneuvering means (not shown) comprising for example a linkage, a lever handle and / or a winch.

The first 32 and second 34 support journals are journalled in respective first and second support bearings in the opposing carrier posts 12, 14. In the figures, only the support bearing 39 formed in the upright 12 is shown.

With particular reference to Figures 3 to 8 it is seen that the common axis X is also materialized by a first connecting pin 40 and a first connecting bearing 42 integral with the first flap 16.

In the illustrated example, the first support pin 32 and the first connecting pin 40 are formed on a first pin 44 integral in rotation with the profile 22. In fact, the first pin 44 is mounted nested in a tubular portion 46 of the profile 22. The first pin 44 is immobilized in rotation in this tubular portion 46 by immobilization means comprising for example an axial rib 48 formed on the first pin 44. This rib 48 thus forms keying means.

The first pin 44 is for example metal, preferably aluminum, or polymer.

It will be noted that the first connecting bearing 42 is delimited by one end of the tubular portion 46 of the profile 22 opposite the end of this tubular portion 46 in which the first pin 44 is housed.

The first connecting pin 40 and the first connecting bearing 42 are intended to cooperate respectively with a second connecting bearing 50 and a second connecting pin 52 integral in rotation with the second component 18. The second connecting bearing 50 is carried by the first member 28 forming a console. The second connecting pin 52 is carried by the second member 30 forming a console.

Note that the second support pin 34, the coupling means 38 integral with the second support pin 34 and the second connecting pin 52 are formed on a second pin 54 integral in rotation with the second member 30 forming a bracket. This second pin 54 is attached to the second member 30 forming support or integral with this second member 30 forming a support.

The console members 28, 30 respectively carry respectively the second connecting bearing 50 and the second connecting pin 52 embodying the common axis.

In the case where the second pin 54 is attached to the second member 30, it can be immobilized in rotation in an orifice of the second pin 54 by keying means such as those used for the first pin 44.

The second pin 54 is for example metal, preferably aluminum, or polymer.

On notera que les deux rails 58 sont sensiblement parallèles et s'étendent sensiblement parallèlement à la plus grande dimension de la seconde plaque 26.Referring to the figure 9 it will be noted that each console member 28, 30 is connected to the second plate 26 by screwing means 56 capable of sliding, before clamping, into a pair of rails 58, formed in the second plate 26. These rails 58 allow the positioning of this second plate 26 relative to the console members 28, 30. Note that the two rails 58 are substantially parallel and extend substantially parallel to the largest dimension of the second plate 26.

For each console member 28, 30 and for each rail 58, the means for The screw 60 is, for example, a screw 60 and a nut 62. The screw 60 is mounted in a passing seat 64 formed in the corresponding bracket member 28, 30. The nut 62 is slidably mounted in the corresponding rail 58.

According to one variant, it is possible to provide a single rail 58 cooperating with corresponding screwing means 56 carried by the console members 28, 30.

According to another variant, each console member 28, 30 could be connected to the second plate 26 by means other than the screwing means 56, namely conventional means providing a rigid connection between the second plate 26 and the console members. 28, 30.

For mounting the two flaps 16, 18 together, we can proceed, for example, as follows.

First of all, the first flap 16 is mounted in the state where it is represented on the figure 3 , ie the first plate 20 fitted in the groove 24 of the profile and the first pin 44 fitted into the tubular portion 46 of the profile.

However, prior to the interlocking of the first pin 44 in the tubular portion 46 of the profile, is placed around this first pin 44 the first console member 28 by fitting the first connecting pin 40 in the second connecting bearing 50. Note that this second connecting bearing 50 has a contour 66 complementary to the contour of the first pin 44 and its axial rib 48 to allow mounting of the first pin 44 through the second connecting bearing 50 (see figure 7 ).

Puis, on place autour de la seconde broche 54 le second organe formant console 30 en emboîtant le second tourillon de liaison 52 dans le premier palier de liaison 42 du profilé 22.Then, around the second pin 54 is placed the second console member 30 by fitting the second connecting pin 52 in the first connecting bearing 42 of the profile 22.

Enfin, on relie les organes formant support 28, 30 entre eux à l'aide des moyens de vissage 56 et de la seconde plaque 26, l'ajustement des positions des différents éléments se faisant grâce aux rails 58, avant serrage des moyens de vissage 56.Finally, the support members 28, 30 are connected to each other by means of the screwing means 56 and the second plate 26, the adjustment of the positions of the various elements being done by means of the rails 58, before tightening the screwing means. 56.

The device 10 comprises, if necessary, sealing means of the type conventionally equipping a device forming a blind. Furthermore, in order to increase the rain-tightness of the shutter device 10, the second shutter 18 preferably comprises two sealing elements 68 respectively extending two opposite ends of the second plate 26. These two sealing elements 68 are respectively integral two consoles forming members 28, 30 for example being integral with these bodies 28, 30.

En variante, le second volet 18 pourrait ne comporter qu'un seul élément d'étanchéité 68 porté par l'un des organes formant consoles 28, 30.Alternatively, the second flap 18 could have only one sealing member 68 carried by one of the console members 28, 30.

It will be noted that the second flap 18, equipped in particular with the sealing elements 68, optimizes the tightness of the device forming a blind 10 which is advantageous when such a device is installed in a region likely to be subject to significant rainfall associated with strong winds facilitating the penetration of water and moisture between the shutters this even when these are closed.

The jalousie device 10 described above makes it possible to perform various functions by adjusting the relative angular positions of the flaps 16, 18. The main functions are described below with particular reference to the figure 1 and to Figures 10 to 12 .

On the figure 1 the jealousy device 10 is shown in a sun protection and ventilation closure configuration (by closing the air passage through the device 10).

Indeed, each first flap 16 is in a closed ventilation limit position in which it is substantially parallel to the uprights 12, 14 and closes the opening of the window thus preventing air from passing through this window.

On the other hand, each second flap 18 is in a limit position substantially perpendicular to the first flap 16 protecting the opening of the window from the rays of the sun.

On the figure 10 the jealousy device 10 is shown in a ventilation opening configuration, in contrast to the previous case.

Indeed, in this case, the second flaps 18 are held in the position shown on the figure 1 , in which they protect the window from the rays of the sun. By against the first flaps 16 are placed in a limit position substantially parallel to that of the second flaps 18 allowing the passage of air through the device forming a blind.

On the figure 11 , the jalousie device 10 is shown in an intermediate configuration, allowing a more limited ventilation than in the case of the figure 10 . Indeed, in this case, the first flaps 16 are in an intermediate position between the two limit positions represented on the figures 1 and 10 . The second flaps 18 are in an angular position substantially identical to that of the first flaps 16 in which they partially obscure the sunlight.

On the figure 12 , the jalousie device 10 is shown in a configuration in which it provides a function of maximum concealment and closure of the ventilation.

Ainsi, dans le cas de la figure 12, l'ensemble des volets, à savoir les premier 16 et second 18 volets sont dans une position sensiblement parallèle aux montants 12, 14.Indeed, the first flaps 16 are in the position shown on the figure 1 closing the ventilation and the second flaps 18 are substantially in the same angular position as that of the first flaps 16, in which they exert a maximum occultation function. So, in the case of the figure 12 , all the flaps, namely the first 16 and second 18 flaps are in a substantially parallel position amounts 12, 14.

The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown and other embodiments will become apparent to those skilled in the art.

In particular, it will be noted that the device 10 forming a blind can comprise resilient abutments, interposed between the first and second flaps when they are in substantially identical angular positions, to avoid direct contact between rigid elements of the first and second second shutters.
