Description

WINDOW STRUCTURE A kind of venetian blind comprising transparent plates and metal plates combines the multiple functions of metal plates for anti-stealing, venetian blind for sunshade, screen windows for ventilation, and glass windows for opening. The design of the conventional window for anti-stealing points to the above functions.
That kind of window has two aluminum windows moving transversely. Each aluminum window has two sub-windows for ventilation. Moreover, the venetian blind is installed inside the aluminum windows so that the aluminum windows occupy lots of space. The installation cost of that window is too expensive to accept.
The purpose of this invention is to improve the structure of venetian blind for anti-stealing. The thinner venetian blind will be suitable for any thinner wall and reduce the installation cost.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A kind of venetian blind comprises metal plates and transparent plates. Turning the adjusting knob revolves metal plates or transparent plates through a worm and a screw wheel, and pivots connecting plates whose ends join with a connecting rod upon square shaft holes to move the connecting rod up or down. Then transparent plates or metal plates which join with connecting plates pivot upon the symmetric holes of connecting rod to open or close.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 is a solid view of this invention; Figure 2 is a partial solid view of this invention; Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 3-3 of Figure 6; Figure 4 is an enlarged view of place 4 in Figure 6r Figure 5 is an actional view of Figure 4; Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 6-6 of Figure 3.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION First, referring to Fig.1, this is a solid view of the window in accordance with this invention. There are air seal strips around the window frame. This invention will explain the structure of the window which is thinner than normal window.
The windowpane of this invention is upheld by window frame 1 which has a window screen 2 fixed by screws 11. There are symmetric holes in two vertical frames to support the support shaft tubes 70 of transparent plates 7. The shaft tubes 70 pivot upon the symmetric holes. The adjusting knob 3 for metal plates 6 and the adjusting knob 4 for transparent plates 7 are to adjust venetian blind and windowpane open or closed. The adjusting knob 3 for metal plates 6 and the adjusting knob 4 for transparent plates 7 have the same structure, and are installed at two vertical frames. Turning the adjusting knobs 3, 4 will drive worms 31, 41 to engage with turning worm wheels 32, 42. Worm wheels 32, 42 use pins 33, 43 to join with connecting rods 34, 44. Connecting rods 34, 44 have pins 35, 45 equidistant arranged to join with connecting plates 36, 46.Worm wheels 32, 42 and connecting plates 36, 46 have square shaft holes 361, 461 which are to provide to engage with the square support shafts 601 of support shafts 60 and the square support shafts 71 of support shaft tubes 70. Worm wheels 32, 42 and connecting plates 36, 46 are fixed by bolts 602 screwing at the bolt holes of square support shafts 601, 71. Hence, turning worm wheels 32, 42 will move connecting rods 34, 44 up or down by means of pins 33, 43 so that connecting plates 36, 46 pivot upon square shaft holes 361, 461. The square shaft holes 361, 461 of connecting plates 36, 46 are connected with the square support shafts 601, 71 of metal plates 6 and transparent plates 7 by means of pins so that support shafts 60 and support shaft tubes 70 are turnable.
Referring to Fig.2, metal plates 6 have the function of anti-stealing. The bottom of each metal plate 6 has a rabbet 61 to inlay a rubber strip 62.
The upper edge of each metal plate 6 has a shaft hole 63 whose section forms arc-shape to provide a support shaft 60 to penetrate. Support shaft 60 has a bigger round end to insert into the support shaft tube 70 of transparent plate 7. Square support shaft 601 beside the bigger round end is to insert into the square shaft hole 361 of connecting plate 36.
Transparent plates 7 can shield wind and water.
The upper edge of each transparent plate 7 has a support shaft tube 70 which inserts into the symmetric holes in two vertical frames. Then transparent plates 7 revolve between two vertical frames. Metal plates 6 are located between two support shaft tubes 70 using shaft holes 63 to engage with support shaft tubes 70 for support shafts 60 penetrating. The support shaft tubes 70 of transparent plates 7 have square support shafts 71 to insert into the square holes 461 of connecting rod 46. The bottom of each transparent plate 7 has a rabbet 72 to inlay a rubber strip 73.
Referring to Figs. 3, 4,and 6, metal plates 6 and transparent plates 7 stack vertically when they need not to open. There are rubber strips 62, 73 installed between each metal plate and each transparent plate so that the window has the functions of anti-stealing and weather-proof. When metal plates 6 need to open as shown in Fig. 5, turning the adjusting knob 3 moves connecting rod 34 down to drive connecting plates 36 pivoting upon square holes 361. Square shafts 60 are set inside support shaft tubes 70 which are constrained between two vertical frames. Hence, turning connecting rod 34 drives support shafts 60 moving metal plates 6 up to let sunshine enter. When transparent plates 7 need to open, turning the adjusting knob 4 drives connecting plates 46 pivoting upon square holes 461 which are joined with the square support shafts 71 of transparent plates 7. Hence, transparent plates 7 can be opened after metal plates 6 has been opened.
The structure of the window in accordance with this invention is as follows. Transparent plates 7 and metal plates 6 stack alternately inside the window frame so that they don't occupy lots of space. Hence, this kind of the window is suitable to install for any thinner wall. Also metal plates 6 and transparent plates 7 extend to the same direction so that their widths can be elongated to let the light and air pass through for better effects. Tradionally, the width of the plates is restricted to the thickness of window frame so that the transparency is not good.
