Die Schließbewegung und/oder die Öffnungsbewegung des Möbelscharniers erfolgt daher ungedämpft. Durch eine Verstellung des Arretierelementes ist die Dämpfungsfunktion wieder aktivierbar, indem die Arretierung des in die Fluidkammer vollständig eingefahrenen Kolbens wieder gelöst wird. Ist die Dämpfvorrichtung in einem Scharniertopf eines Möbelscharniers eingesetzt, so kann der Schalter verstellt werden, ohne dass die Dämpfvorrichtung durch die Verstellung des Schalters aus der Montagelage geraten kann. - A damping device (9) for dampening a movement of a movably-mounted furniture part (3) or a movably-mounted furniture fitting component of a furniture fitting, comprising:- a housing (12),- a slider (13) configured to be moved, in particular displaced, relative to the housing (12),- a fluid chamber (21) either arranged in the housing (12) or in the slider (13),- a piston (22) arranged in the fluid chamber (21), wherein a damping action is produced by a relative movement between the fluid chamber (21) and the piston (22), and wherein the piston (22) adopts a pressed-in end position relative to the fluid chamber (21) at an end of a damping stroke,- a locking device (15) having an arresting element (15a) configured to be actuated manually or with the aid of a tool for deactivating the damping action, wherein the relative position between the fluid chamber (21) and the piston (22) can be releasably locked by the arresting element (15a) in the pressed-in end position,- wherein the housing (12) is provided with a recess (31) in which the arresting element (15a) is movably supported,characterized in that the arresting element (15a) is passed through the recess (31), wherein the arresting element (15a) is configured as a linearly displaceable switch having at least two switching positions, wherein in a first switching position, the damping action of the damping device (9) is activated, and, in a second switching position, the damping action of the damping device (9) is deactivated.
- The damping device according to claim 1, characterized in that the fluid chamber (21) is arranged in the slider (13).
- The damping device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the arresting element (15a) has precisely two switching positions.
- The damping device according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a fixing element (20) is provided for arresting the pressed-in end position, the fixing element (20) being configured to be moved by the arresting element (15a) in a direction, preferably exclusively, transverse, preferably substantially at a right angle, relative to the direction of the damping stroke, the fixing element (20) being configured to be locked to a further fixing element (19) arranged on the slider (13) in the pressed-in end position of the piston (22), wherein it is preferably provided that the arresting element (15a), together with the fixing element (20), has a one-piece configuration.
- The damping device according to claim 4, characterized in that the arresting element (15a) has a portion configured to be actuated manually or with the aid of a tool, said portion being arranged on a first side of the recess (31), and the fixing element (20) is arranged on a second side of the recess (31).
- The damping device according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the fixing element (20) has a substantially rigid configuration and the further fixing element (19) has a resilient configuration.
- The damping device according to claim 6, characterized in that the arresting element (15a) has a deactivation position in which the damping action of the damping device (9) can be deactivated, wherein in the deactivating position of the arresting element (15a), the resilient fixing element (19) can be displaced over the rigid fixing element (20), wherein the resilient fixing element (19) is configured to be deformed against a force of its resilient action, and the resilient fixing element (19) can be fixed by its subsequent snapping back action relative to the rigid fixing element (20).
- The damping device according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that a return mechanism (26) - preferably with at least one return spring - is provided for moving the piston (22) into an extended end position relative to the fluid chamber (21).
- The damping device according to one of the claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the piston (22) is arranged so as to be stationary in the mounting position, and the fluid chamber (21) is displaceably supported relative to the stationary piston (22) when performing the damping stroke.
- A furniture hinge (4) comprising a damping device (9) according to one of the claims 1 to 9.
