Abstract
L'invention concerne un oscillateur (1), pour mouvement horloger, comportant un arbre (12) solidaire d'un balancier (4) portant un premier aimant bipolaire (20), agencé à distance de l'arbre (12) et susceptible, en fonction de la position angulaire du balancier (4), d'être positionné à portée d'un champ magnétique produit par un aimant bipolaire fixe (28), ce dernier étant situé sur la trajectoire du premier aimant bipolaire (20) en étant agencé de telle manière que, lorsque le premier aimant bipolaire (20) se rapproche de l'aimant bipolaire fixe (28), des polarités identiques soient situées en regard l'une de l'autre pour donner lieu à une force de répulsion. L'oscillateur comporte en outre un dispositif de liaison (30, 32), destiné à établir une liaison cinématique entre une source d'énergie du mouvement horloger et l'arbre (12) de balancier, agencé de telle manière que le balancier (4) soit susceptible de présenter un mouvement oscillant périodique entretenu.
Description
- La présente invention concerne un oscillateur, pour mouvement horloger, comportant un arbre destiné à être monté pivotant sur un élément de bâti du mouvement horloger et solidaire d'un balancier portant au moins un premier aimant bipolaire, agencé à distance de l'arbre et susceptible, en fonction de la position angulaire du balancier, d'être positionné à portée d'un champ magnétique produit par au moins un aimant bipolaire fixe, solidaire d'un support destiné à être assemblé au bâti du mouvement horloger.
- Des oscillateurs de ce type sont déjà connus dans le domaine de l'horlogerie. En effet, la fabrication des oscillateurs de type balancier-spiral est délicate à maîtriser, en particulier la réalisation des ressorts-spiraux nécessite un savoir-faire très pointu et peu répandu, ce qui justifie la recherche de solutions alternatives.
- A titre d'exemple, le brevet
EP 1805565 B1 décrit un oscillateur présentant l'ensemble des caractéristiques mentionnées ci-dessus. Plus précisément, ce document décrit la construction d'un oscillateur comportant un balancier portant des aimants bipolaires associés à des aimants bipolaires fixes pour générer des forces de rappel sur le balancier, destinées à reproduire le mouvement typique d'un balancier associé à un ressort-spiral. Ce balancier peut être associé à un échappement à ancre suisse conventionnel pour assurer l'entretien des oscillations à partir d'une source d'énergie mécanique. Les aimants fixes sont agencés autour du balancier, soit dans le même plan que ce dernier, soit dans un plan parallèle. - Toutefois, les constructions de ce type sont complexes à mettre en oeuvre, notamment pour calibrer correctement les aimants utilisés. En outre, on relèvera que les propriétés magnétiques des aimants courants sont fortement variables avec la température ambiante, ce qui rend difficile la réalisation d'un tel oscillateur présentant de bonnes propriétés chronométriques dans une plage courante d'utilisation en températures. Enfin, on notera également que ce brevet mentionne la nécessité de prévoir des butées mécaniques spécifiques pour empêcher un emballement du balancier, qui pourrait par exemple survenir en cas de choc.
- D'autres solutions similaires ont été présentées, notamment pour répondre à la problématique des variations de température ambiante, mais elles sont généralement encore plus complexes que celle qui vient d'être discutée. Ainsi, par exemple, la demande de brevet
WO 2011/051497 A1 décrit une amélioration de l'oscillateur mentionné précédemment, consistant à agencer une culasse ferromagnétique autour du balancier pour canaliser les flux magnétiques impliqués. - Un but principal de la présente invention est de proposer une construction permettant de réaliser un oscillateur pour mouvement horloger, tel que décrit plus haut, ne comportant pas de ressort-spiral, et offrant de bons résultats chronométriques tout en présentant une structure simple, robuste et peu sensible aux variations de la température ambiante ou aux chocs.
- A cet effet, la présente invention concerne plus particulièrement un oscillateur du type mentionné plus haut, caractérisé par le fait que l'aimant bipolaire fixe est situé sur la trajectoire du premier aimant bipolaire, telle qu'elle est définie par le pivotement du balancier, en étant agencé sur le support de telle manière que, lorsque le premier aimant bipolaire se rapproche de l'aimant bipolaire fixe, des polarités identiques soient situées en regard l'une de l'autre pour donner lieu à une force de répulsion. En outre, l'oscillateur selon l'invention comporte un dispositif de liaison, destiné à établir une liaison cinématique entre une source d'énergie du mouvement horloger et l'arbre du balancier, agencé de telle manière que le balancier soit susceptible de présenter un mouvement oscillant périodique entretenu.
- Grâce à ces caractéristiques, et contre toute attente, le principe de base de la répulsion survenant entre deux aimants approchés l'un de l'autre, avec des polarités identiques en regard l'une de l'autre, permet de générer une force de rappel adaptée à la mise en oeuvre d'un oscillateur pour mouvement horloger. En outre, l'aimant fixe remplit directement la fonction de butée mécanique supprimant tout risque d'emballement du balancier en cas de choc.
- Selon un mode de réalisation préféré non limitatif, on peut prévoir que le dispositif de liaison comporte une cheville solidaire de l'arbre de balancier et agencée pour coopérer avec un échappement, destiné à présenter une liaison cinématique avec la source d'énergie du mouvement horloger, pour entretenir les oscillations du balancier. Grâce à ces caractéristiques, l'oscillateur selon la présente invention peut être facilement mis en oeuvre en relation avec un calibre horloger existant, sans nécessiter de modifications trop importantes.
- De manière générale, on peut prévoir que le balancier porte un deuxième aimant bipolaire similaire - et agencé de manière similaire - au premier aimant bipolaire pour coopérer avec l'aimant bipolaire fixe en alternance avec le premier aimant bipolaire, les premier et deuxième aimants bipolaires présentant entre eux un écart angulaire compris entre 20 et 180 degrés. Dans ce cas, il peut être avantageux de prévoir que l'un au moins des premier et deuxième aimants bipolaires est assemblé au balancier de telle manière qu'il peut être déplacé pour ajuster la valeur de l'écart angulaire.
- La présente invention concerne également un mouvement horloger comportant un oscillateur répondant aux caractéristiques ci-dessus, ainsi qu'une pièce d'horlogerie munie d'un tel mouvement horloger.

- Le mouvement horloger peut être un calibre existant qui serait légèrement modifié pour y implanter l'oscillateur selon l'invention ou, en alternative, il peut être un nouveau calibre développé spécifiquement, sans sortir du cadre de l'invention.
- Le mouvement horloger comporte un bâti, notamment ici une platine 2 usinée de manière conventionnelle pour supporter tout ou partie des mobiles du mouvement. En particulier, la platine supporte typiquement une source d'énergie, comme un ressort logé dans un barillet (non illustré), destinée à entretenir les oscillations de l'oscillateur 1 par l'intermédiaire d'un rouage de finissage (non illustré).
- L'oscillateur 1 comporte un balancier 4 de forme générale sensiblement conventionnelle, c'est-à-dire qu'il comprend un moyeu 6 à partir duquel s'étend au moins un bras 8 permettant de relier une serge 10 au moyeu.
- Le balancier 4 est solidaire d'un arbre 12 par lequel il est monté pivotant sur le bâti du mouvement horloger.
- Une première extrémité 14 de l'arbre 12 est ici pivotée dans un premier palier ménagé dans la platine 2, tandis que l'autre extrémité 16 de l'arbre est pivotée dans un deuxième palier ménagé sur un pont 18 de balancier, lui-même assemblé à la platine 2.
- Selon la présente invention, le balancier 4 porte au moins un premier aimant bipolaire 20, agencé à distance de l'arbre 12. Plus précisément, l'aimant 20 est ici logé dans une extension 21 ménagée en surépaisseur sur la serge 10 du balancier 4. L'aimant 20 présente une orientation magnétique sensiblement tangentielle en référence au balancier 4, autrement dit, ses première et seconde faces 22 et 24 présentent des polarités opposées. Par exemple, la première face 22 peut être associée au pôle Nord de l'aimant 20 tandis que la seconde face 24 peut être associée à son pôle Sud.
- Par ailleurs, le pont 18 de balancier porte un support 26 agencé sur le pont de telle manière que son orientation angulaire par rapport à ce dernier peut être ajustée dans un but qui sera exposé plus loin. Le support 26 porte un aimant bipolaire fixe 28 agencée de telle manière qu'il est situé à proximité de la serge 10 du balancier 4.
- Ainsi, le premier aimant bipolaire 20 est susceptible, en fonction de la position angulaire du balancier 4, d'être positionné à portée du champ magnétique produit par l'aimant bipolaire fixe 28.
- En effet, l'agencement du support 26 sur le pont 18 de balancier est réalisé de telle manière que l'aimant bipolaire fixe 28 soit situé sur la trajectoire du premier aimant bipolaire 20, telle qu'elle est définie par le pivotement du balancier 4. Cette trajectoire présente sensiblement la forme d'une portion de tore adjacente à la serge 10 du balancier 4 et située dans un plan parallèle à ce dernier.
- En outre, l'aimant bipolaire fixe 28 est agencé sur le support 26 de telle manière que, lorsque le premier aimant bipolaire 20 s'approche de lui, des polarités identiques soient situées en regard l'une de l'autre pour donner lieu à une force de répulsion. Cet agencement permet de générer des forces de rappel sur le balancier, lorsqu'il pivote, destinées à reproduire le mouvement typique d'un balancier associé à un ressort-spiral.
- On notera que l'extension 21 peut, en alternative, être disposée radialement sur la serge 10 plutôt que suivant une direction axiale, sans sortir du cadre de l'invention. Une telle alternative permet de réduire l'encombrement du balancier dans la direction de son épaisseur mais augmente son diamètre global. La forme et les dimensions du support 26 devront bien entendu être adaptées à l'implantation de l'extension 21 sur le balancier 4 et l'homme du métier ne rencontrera pas de difficulté particulière pour adapter ces éléments en fonction de ses propres besoins.
- Par ailleurs, l'oscillateur 1 selon la présente invention comporte un dispositif de liaison, destiné à établir une liaison cinématique entre la source d'énergie du mouvement horloger et l'arbre 12 de balancier, agencé de telle manière que le balancier soit susceptible de présenter un mouvement oscillant périodique entretenu.
- Comme mentionné plus haut, le mouvement horloger comporte typiquement un rouage de finissage assurant la liaison entre la source d'énergie et l'oscillateur.
- Seule une roue d'échappement 30, entraînée par le rouage de finissage, a été représentée sur les figures. La roue d'échappement 30 reçoit en permanence un couple par son pignon (non visible), sous l'effet de l'énergie libérée par la source d'énergie du mouvement horloger, tendant toujours à la faire tourner dans un même sens de rotation prédéfini.
- La roue d'échappement coopère de manière conventionnelle avec une ancre 32 pivotée sur le bâti du mouvement horloger. L'ancre 32 présente typiquement une fourchette 34 agencée pour coopérer avec la roue d'échappement 30 et un dard 36 agencé pour coopérer avec une cheville de plateau (non visible) solidaire du balancier 4.
- Ainsi, le balancier 4 actionne périodiquement l'ancre 32 pour la faire pivoter et libérer la roue d'échappement 30, tandis que cette dernière fournit de petites impulsions en retour à l'ancre pour entretenir les oscillations du balancier.
- Bien entendu, d'autres réalisations sont envisageables en ce qui concerne le dispositif de liaison, sans sortir du cadre de l'invention.
- A titre d'exemple, on peut prévoir un mécanisme du type de ceux utilisés dans les mécanismes de remontage automatique à double sens mettant en oeuvre un inverseur simple fonctionnant avec un renvoi monté sur une bascule pour engrener alternativement avec des première et seconde roues dentées, directement pour l'une et via un renvoi pour l'autre. Un tel mécanisme est par exemple décrit dans l'ouvrage intitulé "Théorie d'horlogerie", de C.-A. Reymondin et al., édité par la Fédération des Ecoles Techniques (Suisse), ISBN 2-940025-10-X" à la page 178 (fig. 8-30 et 8-31), dont l'enseignement est incorporé par référence dans la présente divulgation. Le renvoi monté sur bascule change de roue dentée à chaque changement de sens de rotation du balancier pour permettre une transmission d'énergie au balancier toutes les alternances.
- L'homme du métier pourra mettre en oeuvre des variantes de réalisation du dispositif de liaison sans difficulté et sans sortir du cadre de l'invention.
- De manière générale, il est possible de prévoir des variantes de réalisation pour l'oscillateur 1.
- Ainsi, par exemple, il est possible de prévoir que le balancier 4 porte un deuxième aimant bipolaire 40 logé dans une deuxième extension 41 similaire à l'extension 21. Le deuxième aimant 40 présente alors la même orientation que le premier aimant 20 de telle manière que les aimants 20 et 40 coopèrent en alternance avec l'aimant bipolaire fixe 28 pour donner lieu, chacun son tour, à une force de répulsion permettant d'inverser le sens de rotation du balancier 4. En outre, le fait de prévoir deux aimants sur le balancier permet d'ajuster l'amplitude des oscillations du balancier, en modifiant l'écart angulaire entre les deux aimants.
- De manière préférée, on peut prévoir un écart angulaire de l'ordre de 20 à 180 degrés, pour que l'amplitude des oscillations du balancier 4 soit comprise sensiblement entre 180 et 340 degrés. Encore plus préférablement, l'écart angulaire peut être compris entre 40 et 160 degrés.
- Par ailleurs, il ressort des figures que le balancier 4 comprend ici un bras unique 8 présentant une étendue angulaire importante pour assurer un équilibrage du balancier du point de vue des masses, notamment pour équilibrer la masse des extensions 21 et 41. Bien entendu, d'autres formes et/ou solutions pourront être retenues pour assurer l'équilibrage du balancier, sans sortir du cadre de la présente invention.
- En ce qui concerne le support 26, il peut comporter une base 50, munie d'un trou 52 pour assurer son assemblage au pont 18, à partir de laquelle s'étendent des premier et deuxième bras 54, 56 destinés à être positionnés avec une orientation angulaire adaptée en référence au balancier 4, lui-même orienté angulairement par rapport à l'ancre 32 (en tout cas, la cheville de plateau est positionnée pour présenter des oscillations sensiblement symétriques en référence à la droite passant par l'arbre de balancier et l'axe de rotation de l'ancre).
- Le premier bras 54 permet de faciliter la préhension du support 26 pour en modifier l'orientation angulaire sur le pont 18, de manière similaire aux raquettes d'échappement conventionnelles.
- Le deuxième bras 56 présente un logement, pour l'aimant bipolaire fixe 28, disposé ici perpendiculairement à la direction principale du deuxième bras 56 de telle manière que l'aimant fixe 28 est finalement orienté sensiblement tangentiellement en référence à la serge 10 du balancier 4.
- Grâce à ces caractéristiques et aux possibilités d'ajustement de l'orientation du support 26, non seulement l'aimant fixe 28 peut être positionné précisément sur la trajectoire des aimants portés par le balancier, mais il permet en outre de définir une butée mécanique offrant une sécurité contre l'emballement du balancier en cas de choc.
- On notera que les aimants bipolaires utilisés pour la mise en oeuvre de la présente invention peuvent être réalisés à partir d'aimants de type standard, disponible dans le commerce, et l'homme du métier ne rencontrera pas de difficulté particulière pour choisir des aimants adaptés à ses besoins.
- On notera également que la construction selon l'invention permet de simplifier la conception de l'oscillateur en référence aux solutions connues et rend en outre l'oscillateur moins sensible aux variations de la température ambiante.
- La description qui précède s'attache à décrire un mode de réalisation particulier à titre d'illustration non limitative et, l'invention n'est pas limitée à la mise en oeuvre de certaines caractéristiques particulières qui viennent d'être décrites, comme par exemple les formes illustrées et décrites pour le balancier ou les différents supports décrits en relation avec les différents aimants. On notera également que l'homme du métier pourra également adapter le présent enseignement pour réaliser un dispositif de liaison entre le balancier et la source d'énergie du mouvement horloger répondant à ses propres besoins sans sortir du cadre de l'invention.
- De manière générale, l'homme du métier ne rencontrera pas de difficulté particulière pour adapter le contenu de la présente divulgation à ses propres besoins et mettre en oeuvre un oscillateur pour mouvement horloger comportant un balancier portant au moins un premier aimant associé à un aimant fixe agencé sur la trajectoire de l'aimant porté par le balancier pour générer une répulsion jouant le rôle de force de rappel lors de la rotation du balancier, sans sortir du cadre de la présente invention.
Claims (8)
- Oscillateur (1), pour mouvement horloger, comportant un arbre (12) destiné à être monté pivotant sur un élément de bâti (2) du mouvement horloger et solidaire d'un balancier (4) portant au moins un premier aimant bipolaire (20), agencé à distance dudit arbre (12) et susceptible, en fonction de la position angulaire dudit balancier (4), d'être positionné à portée d'un champ magnétique produit par au moins un aimant bipolaire fixe (28), solidaire d'un support (26) destiné à être assemblé au bâti (2) du mouvement horloger,
caractérisé en ce que ledit aimant bipolaire fixe (28) est situé sur la trajectoire dudit premier aimant bipolaire (20), telle qu'elle est définie par le pivotement dudit balancier (4), en étant agencé sur ledit support (26) de telle manière que, lorsque ledit premier aimant bipolaire (20) se rapproche dudit aimant bipolaire fixe (28), des polarités identiques soient situées en regard l'une de l'autre pour donner lieu à une force de répulsion, et
en ce qu'il comporte un dispositif de liaison (30, 32), destiné à établir une liaison cinématique entre une source d'énergie du mouvement horloger et ledit arbre (12), agencé de telle manière que ledit balancier (4) soit susceptible de présenter un mouvement oscillant périodique entretenu. - Oscillateur (1) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un pont (18) de balancier portant un palier de montage à pivot dudit arbre (12) et auquel est assemblé ledit support (26).
- Oscillateur (1) selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit support (26) est assemblé audit pont (18) de balancier de telle manière que sa position et/ou son orientation soient ajustables en référence audit pont (18) de balancier.
- Oscillateur (1) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que ledit dispositif de liaison comporte une cheville solidaire dudit arbre (12) et agencé pour coopérer avec un échappement, destiné à présenter une liaison cinématique avec la source d'énergie du mouvement horloger, pour entretenir les oscillations dudit balancier (4).
- Oscillateur (1) selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit balancier (4) porte un deuxième aimant bipolaire (40) similaire - et agencé de manière similaire - audit premier aimant bipolaire (20) pour coopérer avec ledit aimant bipolaire fixe (28) en alternance avec ledit premier aimant bipolaire (20), lesdits premier et deuxième aimants bipolaires (20, 40) présentant entre eux un écart angulaire compris entre 20 et 180 degrés.
- Oscillateur (1) selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que l'un au moins desdits premier et deuxième aimants bipolaires (20, 40) est assemblé audit balancier (4) de telle manière qu'il peut être déplacé pour ajuster la valeur dudit écart angulaire.
- Mouvement horloger comportant un oscillateur (1) selon l'une des revendications précédentes.
- Pièce d'horlogerie comportant un mouvement horloger selon la revendication 7.
